Property Description for 90 Hudson Street, 4-A

This mint and meticulously renovated corner loft is located right in the heart of Tribeca and offers a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath layout with superb luxury finishes throughout. A long entrance gallery leads to a sun-drenched corner Living/Dining room with high ceilings, beautiful oak floors, a wall of custom bookshelves and charming views overlooking the surrounding historic district from enormous double-glazed windows. Nearby, an original exposed brick wall adds character to the room and frames the entranceway to the oversized windowed eat-in-kitchen with deep Dekton countertops and backsplash, endless custom cabinetry, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and picture-postcard views of the historic Mercantile Exchange Building.

Beyond this light-filled room, a wide gallery provides ample space for a home office and leads to two bedrooms and two renovated bathrooms. The primary bedroom suite is a quiet sanctuary appointed with a wall of custom-milled cabinetry and fitted closets by "Henry Built," and a beautiful en-suite bathroom replete with a custom vanity, frameless Robern medicine cabinet and a glass-enclosed rain shower with custom fixtures. The guest bedroom is equally peaceful and offers a large fitted closet and has access to a tasteful limestone bathroom with a deep soaking tub. Every inch of this immaculate home has been thoughtfully designed with luxury and comfort in mind. Additional amenities include custom Lutron lighting, a Bang and Olufson sound system, an Epson TV projector with remote drop-down screen, Hunter-Douglas motorized shades in all rooms and a brand new Miele washer-dryer. No expense spared!

Built in 1881 in the Romanesque Revival style, the 7-story former warehouse was established as a cooperative in 1982 and features a key-locked elevator, video intercom security system, a full-time superintendent available to accept packages, a bicycle room, separate laundry room and a common roof deck with spectacular city views. Best of all is the prime Tribeca location, with its charming cobblestoned streets, historic architecture, great restaurants, shopping, highly rated schools, green parks and all modes of public transportation right at your doorstep. Don't miss this opportunity to live in a mint condition home in Downtown's most celebrated community. Move right in!!

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
