A charming, high-end new development awaits you in Stuyvesant Heights. Expertly designed with a nod to the neighborhood's heritage juxtaposed with high-end finishes that will last far into the future; this building exceeds expectations. A landmark designated brownstone, 361 Macon Street retains its original Italianate facade, which perfectly frames rich and modern interiors. Spacious rooms give way to a common roof deck with raised platform, perfect for enjoying amazing skyline views. Other amenities include AC units, hardwood floors, high ceilings and fine quality craftsmanship throughout. These four units have generous sunlight, private outdoor spaces, plenty of storage and conveniences all around.

The newly renovated apartments feature oversized, double-pane windows and ceilings with recessed, designer lighting. Beautiful southern light streams across the 7" white oak flooring in a large living room, big enough to accommodate a dining room set and couch, enhancing the open feel of the main living space. Equipped with Bluetooth connectable speakers throughout, this apartment is ready for entertaining friends & family or relaxing.

The open kitchen, filled with every convenience including custom cabinetry and plenty of storage for essentials, will meet all your cooking needs. A quartz, wraparound island sits adjacent to the breakfast bar. Top of the line, stainless-steel appliances from Blomberg and XO surrounded the island, including electric cooktop with vent, oven and dishwasher. A hideaway refrigerator integrates seamlessly within the designer cabinets for accessibility and ease of use.

Both bedrooms of Unit 4 are lit from the northern exposure. Each has a large reach-in closet and access to the 161 sq ft terrace. The main bedroom holds a well-designed en suite bathroom detailed with classic honeycomb tiles, a custom vanity, a sleek, oversized mirror and deep soaking tub with rain shower head from Delta. Storage is easily accessible throughout, including a one closet dedicated for laundry with w/d hookups.

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
