Property Description for 430 West 34th Street, 4-L

Here we have an impeccably manicured studio in flourishing Hudson Yards!

Stepping through the front door, you are immediately graced with tasteful midcentury design. Off to the left is a spacious, subway tile laden bathroom. The Kohler fixtures are augmented with polished brass and bring a splash of flair to this traditional stylized wash area.

Moving down the hall you are greeted by the efficient lay out of the kitchen. The chef's area sports impeccably maintained ivory colored cabinets, a mirrored subway tile backsplash, with oil rubbed bronze handles and fixtures that complement the retro Unique fridge.

Now we get to what really makes this home so charming. The living and bedroom area are perfectly quartered off to allow the maximum amount of light while giving more than enough room for both spaces. The appealing French doors and enclosure are almost entirely transparent. The Southern facing windows stretch the entire width of the wall. It would be a crime not to mention that huge wall-to-wall mirrored closet that provides more storage space than anyone might need. Though, just in case you find yourself with an abundance of clothing, an additional closet was built out into the hall.

The location of this building is as prime as it gets. Manhattan West and all of it's amazing shopping is only two blocks away. This includes Whole Foods, Citizens NY which is a top-of-the-line food market and hall, Starbucks and Farm. One, New York City's only vertical hydroponic farm system. Penn Station is only a five minute walk away! The Javits Center, The Highline's Northern Entrance and the A, C, E and 7 subway lines are all in the immediate vicinity.

Convention Overlook is a full service building with a 24/7 doorman, a shared roof deck, laundry in the building, a bike room and storage. The building allows pets, gifting, guarantors, typical subletting and Pied-a-Terres.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
