Property Description

Here is your chance to own a fully renovated Windsor Terrace townhouse, complete with PARKING! Set on an extra large 24 x 141-ft street-to-street lot, enjoy a large front garden, lush and deep back garden, 3-car driveway, and even a garage!

This pristine 2-family townhouse consists of an owner’s triplex that includes 3 bedrooms, 2-½ bathrooms, and a finished basement. A two-bedroom, one-bath rental with separate outside entrance and a sunny stoop is on top. The house can easily be converted into an expansive single-family, or keep it as is and enjoy rental income to reduce your monthly expenses as an added bonus.

The front yard is welcoming and includes evergreens and two irrigation systems for the lawn and a side garden with a rose bush, decorative pine, holly, juniper tree, and evergreen hedges. A large driveway and garage brings all of the conveniences of suburbs right in the heart of Brooklyn!

Enter the owner's triplex conveniently on the ground floor, where you have a gorgeously open and sunny view of the extra deep backyard through a wall of glass windows and sliding glass door off the living room. The kitchen is open and renovated and a powder room is located on this level for added convenience. Step right out to your ipe deck overlooking your backyard lawn complete with a cedar wood planter containing raspberry patch, built-in irrigation systems, and a granite patio with border made from original cobblestones. A custom hardwood bench is ideal for entertaining and campfires.

Downstairs is a huge finished basement with European monkey gym, climbing wall, pull-up bar, wiring for the entire house, security system, kids playspace with LED lighting, two impact-glass windows, two closets, and a floor-to-ceiling pantry. This floor is perfect for a guest suite, yoga room, playroom, or office.

The top floor of the owner’s triplex has 3 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with double vanity and towel warmers, Hansgrohe shower fixtures, enormous walk-in closets, and full-sized washer/dryer.

A separate outside entrance and staircase to the upstairs 2BR/1BA rental maintains privacy and is also in perfect condition. Remove one wall to combine and create your dream single-family home, or keep as is and use for extra income or for those family visitors.

Other features include:

  • Forced air central heat system in both units
  • Ductless A/C
  • Extra-large water heater
  • Towel warmers in the bathrooms
  • Master bedroom with two closets and double European-style windows
  • Large garage with shelving and custom hockey tile flooring

Set on a quiet and leafy Windsor Terrace street, two blocks to Prospect Park and one block from Windsor Farms Market and Walgreens. Restaurants like Krupa, Le Paddock, Della, and East Wind Snack Shop and coffee bars such as Daytime and Poetica are close by too. A home like this is a rare find! Don’t miss the first open house Sunday, March 27th.

    Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

    Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
