In the heart of Tribeca, off a cobblestone street, up on the 5th floor of a boutique elevator building, you'll find this beautiful, gut-renovated loft. With high ceilings, re-finished hardwood floors, 6-windowed living space, and multiple nooks of exposed brick... this home offers the charming details you've been waiting for, paired with the convenience of a fully renovated home... Warm sconces light the renovated kitchen and bedroom area, which is an open, large, L-shaped space that can easily accommodate sections for a bedroom/sleeping quarters, dining table, living room and work-from-home office. A newly renovated bathroom with deep soaking tub, a laundry closet (yes, comes with washer and dryer inside the home), and a wall of custom built-in closets in the bedroom area, round out the functional details. As if this wasn't too good to be true, a storage unit in the basement is also included with the home. 10 Leonard St is a 16-unit boutique, keyed-elevator co-op, with roof access. You can't live in the heart of Tribeca and not talk about the most amazing dining in New York City. From favorites at the perpetually-popular Mr Chow or Locande Verde, to laid-back wine spot Terroir Tribeca, celebrity-sightings at Marc Forgione's, stand-out mexican cuisine at Zona's, mouth-watering French bites at Frenchette, or the upscale comfort foods at Bubby's... just to name a few of the plethora of beloved eateries just moments from your front door. Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
