Property Description for 107 Wyckoff Street, 1

A Garden Oasis Imagine living in a home with a bright, airy kitchen and a large spectacular garden -- right in the heart of one of Brooklyn's most desirable locations. 107 Wyckoff Street, Apt. 1 can be your new home. Elevated over quiet Wyckoff Street, this stunning 2-bedroom co-op garden apartment with high 10' ceilings throughout features a gorgeously renovated eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, beautiful and durable quartz countertops, and generous storage space. The bamboo cabinetry and cork flooring are all composed of green, renewable, and low-maintenance materials, creating a quiet, comfortable, and healthy environment. Every detail was designed and crafted with thought and care. Beyond the lovely kitchen you enter the wide-open living area with its original hardwood floors. Sunlight streams in from the oversized south-facing windows. Off the hallway leading to the bedrooms you'll find your luxurious spa-like bathroom featuring Italian floor and wall tiles. The double vanity features a beautiful travertine marble countertop, and you'll look forward to the pampering luxury of the spacious walk-in shower. The two bedrooms are sanctuaries of comfort, separated from the living space and adjacent to the fully landscaped 800 square-foot meditative garden. The primary bedroom is huge -- nearly 250 square feet -- with well-designed built-in closets for superior storage space. The second bedroom features more thoughtful built-in storage and a full-size washer and dryer set with even more storage above. Don't forget the additional basement storage area conveniently just one floor below. Breathe a little deeper in your idyllic garden, mindfully designed for relaxation with low maintenance features such as an automatic watering system. A perfect private retreat from the City right in your backyard. And the location! In the heart of Boerum Hill, a village in the city, with Greek Revival and Italianate rowhouses, tree-lined streets, and lots of sky. The F and G trains are literally just around the corner--only 3 stops from Manhattan-- and other nearby lines include the A, B, C, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains. Take advantage of all that Smith Street has to offer: great shopping, bars, restaurants, and energy. Mia’s Bakery, Savelli, Cafe Lulac, Oba Brooklyn, The Clover Club, and many other wonderful local businesses make Smith Street a Brooklyn destination. You'll be minutes from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Brooklyn Fare, as well as a Nets game at the Barclays Center or a world theater or dance production at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. What else could you want? Peace and tranquility combined with the special energy of one of Brooklyn’s most desirable locations. Call or email us for an appointment. This unique oasis can be the home you’ve always wanted. Proof of vaccination and masks is required for all showings.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
