Property Description for 280 Bleecker Street, 2

Welcome to 280 Bleecker. Introducing the West Village’s newest boutique redevelopment where three spectacular full-floor residences exemplify a perfect marriage between luxury, location, and light. Each thoughtfully appointed home has been meticulously designed to highlight and elevate the most quintessential elements of West Village living. Each floor enjoys its own one-of-one bird’s eye view over world famous Bleecker Street, and offers an awe inspiring direct sight line down the historically significant single-block of Jones. To look out the living room windows is to feel beautifully immersed in New York’s both “then” and “now” simultaneously. The Second Floor, an inaugural offering, is a meticulously designed three bedroom, two bathroom residence that features the development’s sole private outdoor space- an oversized, Nortwood encased, westward exposed rear terrace. The entire home undeniably boasts condominium-worthy finishes throughout. Double exposure light from both the East and West bounces off Terra Legno wide plank hardwood floors. Kitchens feature integrated, stainless steel Blomberg appliances that glow beneath warm, under-cabinet ambient LED lighting. An undermount sink rests between a full sized, interiorly two-tone lit refrigerator and full sized dishwasher. A four burner Blomberg cooktop with an integrated wall oven sits in perfect symmetry below a matching integrated microwave delivering an intentional moment of design integrity and full functionality. A solid surface granite backsplash in Columbia Grey transitions effortlessly into wide spanning countertops before being punctuated by a waterfall edge. Each spa-finished bathroom features warm ambient uplighting and an indulgent deep soak tub. Oversized, high-reaching tile work featuring a custom integrated soap niche ensures that every shower experience will be equally luxurious. Wall mounted, slatted wood vanities sit beneath recessed, powered, LED medicine cabinets- both of which provide the very necessary ample bathroom storage that the beloved West Village neighborhood often goes without. Three bedrooms, each with their own closet and ample natural light, offer unique downtown vignettes through every window. A primary bedroom with en-suite spa bath faces west, setting the scene for magical golden hours with every sunset. Common closet spaces, including one designated specifically for an in-unit Blomberg washer and dryer system, allow for even deeper settling in. Last but certainly not least, the building’s sole private outdoor space is perfect for entertaining and provides an opportunity for green, landscaped views from both rear bedrooms. 280 Bleecker delivers a sensation of privacy and intimacy immediately upon entry, augmented further by Latch’s keyless entry system at both the front door and units. The entire West Village beckons just outside your front door. World class, Michelin starred dining juxtaposes century old institutions, block after block, waiting to be explored. Just around the corner, experience: Via Carota for an all day menu that is famously understated, but never underdelivered, Palma for a neighborhood favorite courtyard garden dining experience or private event space, Bar Pitti for the most lively al fresco brunches, or Murray’s Cheese for a quick stop to build a perfect picnic basket before a park day along the West Side Highway overlooking the Hudson River. Live jazz on a blanket in the sun just blocks away at Washington Square Park also awaits. Inquire today to arrange a private introduction to the space. We look forward to meeting you. Please note some images above have been virtually staged.

Greenwich Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Birthplace of beatniks, Greenwich Village has always been a neighborhood bursting with creativity, home to artists, poets, musicians and writers. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood, as it gives convenient access to many other neighborhoods. There are a lot of popular eateries on MacDougal Street and bars on Bleecker Street. The neighborhood has a bit of a college-town feel, due to the presence of NYU. There aren’t large chain stores here, so it isn’t really a mecca for shopaholics, but you can find interesting vintage stores and specialty boutiques.

Available housing is centered on pre-war walk-ups. You can find good deals on the quieter, tree-lined side streets, as opposed to the bustling avenues. There are pockets of brownstones and townhouses, some dating back to the early 19th century, throughout the neighborhood, as well. You will find more luxurious housing in the newer high-rise buildings on Park and Fifth Avenues.

Washington Square Park is the heart of the neighborhood. If you sit near the Arch and close your eyes, you might catch an echo of the music and social history of the Park, floating through the air. Greats like Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon started their storied careers right here in Greenwich Village. Today, the Village is a celebration of diversity, where everyone is welcome.
