Property Description for 425 East 13th Street, 1-K

LEASES SIGNED -- Splash into your new designer loft with rooftop pool! Welcome home to this thoroughly gut renovated designer loft with sun-soaked southern exposure through oversized picture windows. With nearly 20-foot ceilings and high-end finishes, this full-service duplex condominium rental is as impressive as it is incredibly comfortable. The main entry features a statement kitchen with new Bosch and Liebherr appliances and hand-selected soapstone slab counters and backsplash from ABC. You'll find additional soapstone slab accents within the powder room with Ann Sacks herringbone marble floors and a Porcelanosa vanity as well. The kitchen opens to a cozy dining area off the main living room, where the ceilings stretch to double height. A tall window assemblage admits a sunny interplay of light through the trees outside onto soft floors of 8 inch wide-plank solid white oak floors inside. Up the staircase - more storage underneath! - is the primary ensuite bedroom overlooking below. Within, discover the luxurious primary bathroom with walk-in shower, terrazzo slabs, brushed brass fittings, and Porcelanosa vanity, plus a fabulously customized walk-in closet. The apartment features Lutron smart lighting controls, double-height motorized blackout shades from The Shade Store and a brand new Bosch washer and dryer. Custom storage cabinetry built in. Linen closet. The boutique condominium offers an admirable array of world-class amenities, not least of which is the rooftop outdoor swimming pool with cinematic views over the East Village and beyond. Barbecue and relax with friends on the roof, or work out in the gym -- all with a 24-hour attended lobby. All with NO amenity fees. A truly special offering in the beating, Bohemian heart of Manhattan's exciting vibrant downtown.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
