Property Description for 420 West 25th Street, 6-B

FABULOUS HUGE CHELSEA LOFT
LIMITED VIEWING SCHEDULE: MON/WED/FRI's 12;00-3;00PM

Although we call this a 'Loft Studio' because the sleeping room is not windowed; at over 1,000 square feet it is larger than most one or two bedroom apartments making it one of the most unique apartments in prime West Chelsea. This special residence offers both the vibe of true loft living combined with all the luxuries, amenities and conveniences of a full service condominium.

With soaring 12-foot ceilings and four oversized double-height windows benefiting from abundant natural light throughout the open airy vibe cannot be beat. Nordic ash hardwood floors complement it further enhancing the brightness of the space, flowing seamlessly into a sleek custom-designed chef s kitchen by Schiffini of Italy. The kitchen revolves around a large center island and boasts discretely concealed double Liebherr refrigerator/freezer, and a dishwasher, cook- top and oven all by Bosch, as well as exceptional integrated storage to neatly hide everything and maintain the sleek esthetic appeal. There is also an integrated dining counter. The layout and size of the apartment is such that it provides exceptionally spacious dedicated spaces for living, entertaining and working. The massive bathroom is reminiscent of a luxurious European spa, featuring slate tiled floors, a custom vanity and an oversized Kohler deep-soaking tub. The loft also features an Asko washer& dryer, and an exceptionally large custom outfitted walk-in closet so large that for some it could serve as a Home Office. A large dedicated Sleeping Room as large as any standard bedroom (although not windowed) outfitted with a large fitted closet. The loft has both through-the-wall and central air-conditioning.

This unique residence also comes with dedicated caged storage, which transfers with a sale.

Loft 25 is situated in the heart of West Chelsea, within walking distance to Hudson River Park, the High Line and Hudson Yards with every convenience imaginable at one's doorstep. The condominium features a 24-hour Front Desk Staff & Concierge, Fitness Room, Screening Room, a Zen-Garden and a live-in Resident Manager. The building also boasts a Landscaped Roof Deck, spanning over 5,000 square feet enjoying fabulous views South, West & East with an outdoor shower, three barbeque grills, an ice-maker, seating, sunning and lounge facilities.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
