Property Description for 334 77th Street, 3-L

Have yourself a large slice of prime located Bay Ridge on a quiet block. Welcome to this rare, massive two bedroom/two bath condominium outfitted with two private outside spaces, vaulted ceilings equipped with multiple skylights and an absolutely expansive floorplan. This is one of the largest apartments in all of Northern Bay Ridge. As you come up the entrance foyer's stairwell, you turn left and are immediately greeted by the huge living space. Although the eat-in-kitchen has ample enough room for a dining table, the living area could easily accommodate both formal dining and an entertainment space. The room has great character with tasteful, built-in storage, recessed lighting and access to both the North facing balcony and laundry. In the back corner, there is an alcove space perfectly designed for at-home office. The kitchen has full-sized stainless-steel Whirlpool appliances, a dishwasher and a gorgeous vented hood. The cabinetry has dark cherry wood finishes that complement the cream Caesarstone countertop and small subway tiled backsplash. Both bedrooms having the ideal South facing window, only the primary is also provided the other private outdoor space. The primary has a full bathroom with a shower stall and built-out closet. The entire home is heated and cooled with central air. As far as location, it does not get any better. An endless array of bars and restaurants are steps away, including but not limited to the highly rated Tanoreen, Omonia, Piccante, Baci, The Salty Dog, Chadwick's and Blue Agave. Convenience is at a premium. Within 3 blocks in either direction you have coffee: Matter, Clockface and Starbucks, Laundry, Dry Cleaning, Keyfood, an amazing Deli at Parkway (75th and 3rd), nail salons, hair salons, wonderful spas and multiple gym choices. Retail shopping is an 8 minute walk to the south and the stunning Owl's Head Park is the same difference to the North. The R Train at 77th Street is less than a minute's walk away. Pets approved on a very limited basis. Guarantors welcome!

Bay Ridge | Brooklyn

Lush front yards and trimmed hedges are pretty common in Bay Ridge.

Quick Profile

Bay Ridge is an old-world neighborhood neatly tucked into the southwest corner of Brooklyn within the shadows of the Verrazano Bridge. The neighborhood is encircled by the Belt Parkway along the shore line and the Gowanus Expressway inland.

Bay Ridge, long known for its generational pull, has historically been home to a diverse number of ethnic groups. While the area is flush with people of Irish, Italian and Greek descent, these ethnic communities have been joined by larger numbers of new groups, including people with Russian, Polish, Asian and Middle Eastern backgrounds. The Arab American community today in Bay Ridge represents the largest concentration of Arab Americans in New York City.

For many years, Bay Ridge and its waterside location, would attract the affluent. But most of the mansions that once lined Shore Road are long gone and have been replaced by six-story apartment buildings.

Aside from the low-rise apartment buildings, the neighborhood pretty much consists of one and two-family homes. Lush front yards and trimmed hedges are pretty common here.

Current zoning and limitations on building heights restrict any out of the norm development. At present, the future beholds small development on some of the commercial strips and teardowns of older homes for smaller residential projects.
