Property Description for 366 Broadway, PH-A

The Crown Jewel Atop the Collect Pond House!

Let your Architectural Digest dreams come to life! Welcome to the luxurious Penthouse A at 366 Broadway. The Collect Pond House is a grand 12-story landmark cooperative in prime Tribeca, having undergone an exquisite 7-year renovation process, yielding an incomparable place to call home. The gorgeous combination of two units, one once owned by actress Sarah Jessica Parker, is expansive and light-drenched, making it the perfect canvas to create and customize your own bespoke penthouse. Topping the allure of this once-in-a-lifetime offering is a phenomenal 1,000+ SF private landscaped roof terrace with breathtaking 360-degree views, and a summer kitchen equipped with a grill enhanced by fabulous north, west and south-facing cityscape views from the Woolworth Tower to the Empire State Building.

The spacious residence spans 2 impeccably-finished levels, both brightened by huge windows on triple exposures (26 in total, including striking wood framed and original arched windows). Airy ceilings up to 10'5", rich hardwood floors and refined finishes enrich the ambience. The main level is a perfect backdrop for entertaining, with a massive 45' great room affording a versatile open layout with living and dining areas, plus a cozy den. The chef's kitchen illuminated by skylights is a culinary dream appointed with custom cabinetry, a Viking fridge & vented stove, Bosch dishwasher, and Marvel wine fridge. Have morning coffee and casual meals in the adjoining south-facing breakfast room with a lovely built-in banquet. Completing this floor is a quiet home office with northern windows and a full bath flanking the gracious entry foyer.

The lower level houses the sleeping quarters featuring 3 bedrooms and a media room. The primary retreat enjoys brilliant light from corner exposures to the south and west as well as sunset visas. Completing the deluxe suite is an enormous custom-outfitted walk-in dressing closet with tons of built-in storage, and a divine spa bath with 2 oversized windows, dual sinks, and a soothing shower for refreshing. There's also a guest suite with its own private entrance, a third bedroom with ample closets, a media room for movie nights, full half bath, and convenient laundry room.

Ascend the beautiful architectural staircase conceived by famed Stephen Wanta to your amazing 47'5" x 25' private rooftop oasis for alfresco dining, hosting cocktail parties, lounging with a book, and gardening. Two large storage cages come with the apartment.

Built in the early 1900s, the Beaux-Arts Collect Pond House was converted to a co-op in 1979. Elevating the lifestyle are 2 new elevators, a full-time super & porter, video security entry, new mail & package rooms, a common rooftop & bike room. Public spaces were meticulously transformed by an architect-resident over a 7-year restoration process, most notably the grand lobby restored to its original glory with double-height marble walls, a wrought-iron staircase, and elaborate iron grills encasing the elevator bank. Excellent Tribeca location at the crossroads of SoHo, Battery Pak City and the South Street Seaport, minutes to restaurants, shops, schools, subways, the Hudson River Greenway and more!

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
