Property Description for 200 Saratoga Ave

Welcome to 200 Saratoga - a lovely two-story, three bedroom townhouse...

Through the front door we enter into the large living room. You'll notice how much space there is play with - many layout designs are at your disposal. To the right of the room, there are a bunch of doors - these access a storage closet under the stairs; a double-door coat closet; a half bathroom, and the mechanicals room. To the back, you'll find the renovated kitchen with ample cabinetry; double-door fridge; five-burner stove; dishwasher; and W/D unit. Notice the window above the sink peers onto the backyard and skyline. The yard is fully paved to be easily furnished with patio table, chairs, BBQ and, if you'd like, a kid's play area.

Back inside and up the stairs we have the three bedrooms and full bathroom. The East facing bedroom, at the front of the house features a double-door mirrored closet and three windows to enjoy the morning sun. The West bedroom, at the back of the house, has two windows which enjoy the evening sun and sunset. The third bedroom, in the middle, features a double door closet and also a West facing window.

This house is move-in ready and the location is ideal. If you have a car, there is no trouble finding street parking, and for public transit - you have access to the C, J, M and L subway lines as well as the LIRR. The neighborhood features also include the Fish Playground (only a block away) and the Marion Hopkinson Playground.

Get in touch if you'd like to schedule an in-person tour.

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
