Turn the soft corner, you reach the enormous living/dining and kitchen area. Morning light floods this loft-like corner of the home through the six oversized windows that are facing an open courtyard and low-rise buildings. The living room features an oak-paneled built-in media center with surrounding storage. The chef's kitchen offers a full complement of appliances, including an integrated 30" Bertazoni refrigerator and matching 30" full-height freezer, a 36" Bertazoni range and hood, an integrated Bertazzoni dishwasher, Bertazzoni microwave drawer, and 46-bottle wine fridge. The custom cabinetry is complemented by a Caesarstone countertop and the incredible 11-seat island offers the perfect setting for entertaining. With towering ceilings, 11 windows, and a state-of-the-art HVAC system with HEPA filter, this expansive condominium has been renovated with thoughtful attention to detail with no aspect overlooked. 99 John Deco Lofts is a sought-after residence with full-service amenities, yet remarkably low common charges. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman, luxury fitness room, children’s playroom, residents’ lounge, large outdoor Zen garden with grills, wrap-around roof deck with cabanas, valet service, separate indoor bike storage, and garage parking for an additional fee. 99 John is a block from the entrance to the Fulton Center complex (1/2/3, A/C, 4/5, N/R, J/Z, and PATH trains) and one minute from three large supermarkets including one within the building and a Whole Foods on Wall Street. 99 John is also located a few blocks from PS 254, PS 150, Spruce, and Peck Slip public schools. It is also in close proximity to great establishments, such as Danny Meyer’s Manhatta, Tom Colicchio’s Temple Court, and Eataly. Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
