Property Description for 191 Spencer Street, 9-A

Welcome to this sprawling Penthouse One Bedroom Apartment with 3 Private Outdoor Spaces! Enter by way of a keyed elevator into this entire floor-thru space with incredible East & West facing windows. The spacious Living Room has an exposed brick-wall with an adjoining Balcony that extends your living space to the outdoors for beautiful sunset views of the skyline.

The Chef’s Kitchen is recently renovated with high-end appliances, premium quartz countertops, deep ceramic sink, custom cabinets, high-quality floor tiles, and a newly installed kitchen island with meal-prep area and breakfast bar. The superior quality of this kitchen is hard to overstate… with professional grade stove-top and vented hood, two different types of ovens, double-door refrigerator, premium fixtures, and even a wine cooler.

Slide into the banquette seating of the Dining alcove, with bright windows and extra storage under the bench seating, and realize what the phrase “eat-in kitchen” is really supposed to mean.

The Bathroom is also recently renovated with beautiful plaster-finished walls, terrazzo floors, recessed lighting, excellent storage options, and elegant fixtures. An oasis of calm in a hectic city.

The King-sized Bedroom faces East & South with an adjoining Balcony where you can sit and enjoy the morning sunshine. The generous size of this bedroom allows for a double-door Closet, extra storage available above the in-unit Washer/Dryer, and there is even room to add a desk for a Home Office.

Then you can follow the spiral staircase on the bedroom balcony up to the Private Roof Terrace… the 3rd of the private outdoor spaces! A combination of internal luxury and endless sunlight on all of your external spaces, this is a rare apartment that needs to be seen to be believed.

Located in Bed-Stuy… if you go east you can quickly access the green spaces of Herbert Von King Park and the G Train, and if you go west you can quickly access all the great shops and restaurants along Dekalb Ave & Bedford Ave. CitiBike Stations and Bus Stops are in all directions around you. But there will be little reason to leave once you get home…

Apartment will be delivered UNFURNISHED … but all light fixtures, window treatments, attached shelving, and external furniture are part of the rental. Pets will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Expedited online condo application process. Available immediately.

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
