STUNNING PARK VIEWS; LARGE 2-BR, 2-BATH!

Open your front door and behold impeccable quality and modern comfort high above it all within your new home! As you pass by the spacious coat closet, you'll notice the gleaming new large-plank oak wood floors and airy 9-foot ceilings. Just off the foyer, your guests will love you for the Restoration Hardware full second bath. Proceeding down the hallway, escape from your life in your gigantic master suite with its own double-deep closet and new full bath and many furniture options. Next, your second bedroom has generous proportions with its own closet and has enough room to fit a king-sized bed and other furniture. Continuing down the hallway you'll find yet another closet and a separate closet with your personal washer and dryer! To the right, you'll cherish your recently-remodeled, open-concept, oodles-of-cabinets kitchen. Stone countertops, full-size stainless appliances - including a dishwasher - coupled with a separate dining area make eating scrumptious. Finally, the largest area of your home is the fabulous living room, big enough to have different zones of furniture. Your primary bedroom suite, the second bedroom, and living room all have large, spectacular western windows showcasing trees, the Jackie Robinson Park, and sunsets.

The Sutton is a very pet-friendly, full-amenities cond-op, featuring 24-hour doorman, package room, live-in super, fitness center / yoga room, private event space, and landscaped common courtyard. Storage, bike storage, and parking garage (all additional fee, waitlist) complete the package.

At the edge of Hamilton Heights and Sugar Hill, your home is located across from the legendary Jackie Robinson Park, with its huge community pool, recreation center, library, computer resource center, arts & crafts room, baseball diamonds, basketball / volleyball courts, playgrounds, and water-play area. Additionally, from each room you have direct views of the Park's band shells for warm-weather outdoor concerts. Primary transportation options are moments away, including the A/C/D/B (Columbus Circle is 2 stops away on the express), #3, and Bx19 bus (crosstown). For those using Ubers or cars, you'll reach the 145th Street Bridge, Harlem River Drive, George Washington Bridge and RFK Bridge in minutes. Convenient neighborhood perks include 24-hour Pathmark Supermarket, the farmer's market, Duane Reade, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Bank of America, New York Sports Club, Chase and Carver Bank. Also close are Home Depot, Marshalls, and Target.

Harlem | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The neighborhood called West Harlem by the locals is known as Manhattanville to neighborhood newcomers. The area is culturally diverse and might be considered a microcosm of the city as a whole.

Columbia University has recently expanded into the area, which is attracting student residents from all over the world. Together with students from the City College of New York and young professionals fleeing higher prices in other neighborhoods, this influx of younger residents has brought with it more restaurants and bars on W 125th Street to serve this clientele. There are also new ventures, like a rock-climbing gym, to cater to the interests of these students and young professionals. At the same time, there are many small, family-owned shops and restaurants that have been anchors of the neighborhood for multiple generations.

The area has been through a housing upgrade, as older properties have been renovated and abandoned properties have been razed to make room for new development. There are still reasonably priced apartments available. Young professionals are finding that there is a certain cachet to living in West Harlem. It provides a convenient commute to the city and all of its amenities, while providing a sense of escape at the end of a long work day.

While rentals are popular with the student population, the young professionals are delighted to find pre-war brownstones, pre-war co-ops (including some income-capped HDFCs for lower- and middle-income buyers), and post-war condos that they can afford, although prices are rising. Some new low-rise developments, sporting virtual doormen and desired amenities, are cropping up.
