Property Description for 111 Third Ave, 11-H

Welcome home to this lustrous, king-sized one bedroom with skyline views and substantial storage space in coveted Union Square condop with a full-time doorman and an abundance of fabulous amenities! Vibrant and sun-bathed, the property features a wonderfully functional layout and thoughtful, quality renovations throughout. An open, windowed chef’s kitchen offers a sizable island and breakfast bar, dignified, black appliances including dishwasher and microwave, striking, black quartz counter tops, ample custom cabinetry, and a built-in water filtration system. The airy living room blends seamlessly with the kitchen and dining area and provides plentiful natural light and both city and river views through a total of four over-sized windows. Enjoy brilliant sunrises from the east-facing, king-sized bedroom (bed in photos is a California King) complete with three large windows. The distinctive, sleek, windowed bathroom is accented by black and white subway tiles and a glass sink, and provides a three-panel mirrored vanity, bathtub, and elegant fixtures. Storage abounds with a large walk-in closet, a linen closet, two additional closets, and built-in storage chambers along the walls in both the living room and bedroom. The property also features pristine cherry wood flooring, hidden, through-the-wall AC compartments, and abundant overhead light sources (recessed lights, track lighting, dimmers). The full-service condop, which has a true sense of community rarely found in large buildings, offers its residents a newly-renovated lobby with a full-time doorman, a live-in resident manager, package room, laundry room, a newly redesigned courtyard with an outdoor basketball court and BBQ area with Weber grill, and a glorious, wonderfully furnished and landscaped roof-deck, complete with 360 degree views and a Bocce court! The authenticity of a co-op with flexibility more akin to a condo, low monthly maintenance, mid-century architecture, and modern amenities. The condop is pet-friendly, allows pied-a-terre and unlimited subletting after the first year of ownership and permits both parents buying for children and co-purchasing with several exceptions. At the convergence of the East Village, Gramercy Park, and Union Square, you’ll find the best of all three just out the door. East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
