Welcome to 2023! A New Year is definitely an opportune time to acquire your new home in iconic London Terrace Towers in West Chelsea. Once entering apartment 7I, you'll immediately sense, this is the right one!

We can begin with extra-high casement style windows framing vast open NYC skyline views. The full southern exposures produce brilliant light throughout the day and the sunsets are simply magical. Just across the street, circa 19th century townhouses remind one of a gone by era when 23rd Street was posh Millionaires Row.

You'll appreciate this striking renovated open concept windowed kitchen with its streamlined contemporary design and ideal for those who cherish entertaining, or simply preparing their own culinary delights. There is certainly an abundance of handsome maple wood cabinetry plus tons of storage, capped off with vast double tier stone (shist) countertops.

The separate bed alcove area can be concealed in a moment's notice with double sliding doors ensuring one's privacy when invited guests arrive. The adjacent main living space is generous in size and able to accommodate full dining and living room ensembles.

The oak plank flooring, 9'+/- beamed ceiling, steel entry door, honey combed brick + plaster walls are features in this prewar setting. If you prefer to adjust the temperature in the environment, a through-window AC unit provides the ultimate cooling experience, (it can be installed under the window).

A mint condition spa inspired bathroom is very impressive with its glass enclosed shower stall, product cubby and waterfall rain fixture. The inlaid octagonal marble flooring is beautiful, and the elevated vanity w/sink boasts plenty of storage capabilities, in addition to mirrored front medicine cabinets. The name brand hardware and fixtures compliment the rooms stylish esthetic.

As a resident of 465 West 23rd Street, one has direct access to our state-of-the-art health facility including the 1/2 Olympic, (25 meter / 75') size indoor heated pool in addition to the men & women's lounges with private steam rooms + saunas. We also cherish our lushly planted and teak furnished roof deck with jaw dropping views of Manhattans iconic towers, New Jersey skyline and Hudson River.

The 24-hour lobby attendants, Live-in Superintendent, 24-hour porters are all in place to enhance the comfort and security of our residents. There are separate bike rooms and storage lockers, (separate fees apply). Pets are welcome too!

How convenient it is to be located directly across from the High Line Park Promenade entrance on 23rd and 10th Avenue and blocks away from the Hudson River, Chelsea Piers, Whole Foods, Chelsea Market and Hudson Yards Development as well as all the fine eateries in the neighborhood.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
