This mint and elegant full-floor loft is located on a quiet landmarked block in historic Tribeca and features grand proportions, exquisite finishes and a sense of peace and tranquility that is hard to find in New York City. Step off the key-locked elevator to an expansive light-filled living room with soaring ceilings, rich Brazilian walnut floors and picture-postcard views of the surrounding historic district from a wall of double-glazed arched windows. The enormous state-of-the-art chef's kitchen with center-island is open to the entertaining space and features deep quartz countertops, custom Poliform white-lacquer cabinetry, abundant storage space, and top-of-the-line Miele and Sub-Zero appliances. Nearby, a large separate dining alcove comfortably seats 10 guests, and can easily be converted to a library or separate home office. Just beyond, a wide hallway separates public from private, and leads to two bedrooms and two spa-quality bathrooms. The oversized primary bedroom suite is bathed in southern light and offers more Poliform built-in storage, and a large separate dressing room outfitted with sleek custom-designed Rimadesio cabinetry imported from Italy. The adjoining primary bathroom is clad in floor-to-ceiling marble, and offers a custom trough sink for two with oversized medicine cabinet, and a large separate wet room with open shower and deep Neptune soaking tub. The guest bedroom is equally bright with custom fitted closets, and offers easy access to a tasteful hall bathroom with custom vanity and deep soaking tub. There is a quiet elegance throughout the home which is further enhanced by custom moldings, solid core 10-foot doors and stylish Niche Modern pendant chandeliers. Additional amenities include central air-conditioning through linear diffusers, a large separate laundry closet with Bosch washer-dryer, motorized solar and blackout shades in both bedrooms, and custom Lutron lighting on dimmers throughout.

Built in 1854 in the Italianate style, the exquisite limestone building was converted to a boutique 6-unit luxury condominium in 2010. Building amenities include a key-locked elevator, video intercom security system, a dramatic renovated lobby, an enormous 11 X 11 dedicated storage room in the basement, and low monthly charges. And of course, there's the prime location, situated on one of Tribeca's most picturesque blocks, surrounded by historically significant architecture and just a short stroll to the neighborhood's best restaurants, green parks, P.S. 234, Whole Foods market and all major subway lines. Don't miss this opportunity to live in a beautifully renovated home in Downtown's most celebrated community!

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
