Have you checked out 470 West 24th Street, in iconic London Terrace Towers? If you are looking for the perfect space to initiate your own personal style in an enormous prewar apartment with great bones, look no further you just found it!

Now is the opportune time to acquire one of the most sought-after apartment lines in all of London Terrace Towers. Residence 6H is a very unusual find in today's value driven market. Imagine living in a just under 900 +/- sq. ft. 1 bedroom, 1 bath prewar home with original solid hardwood oak-plank floors, 9' +/- beamed ceilings, and plaster coated honey-combed interior walls. The original circa 1930's steel entry door, doorframes and grillwork are all waiting to be refurbished thereby paying homage to the neighborhood's past industrial era.

The prewar bathroom retains many of the original elements, including the signature London Terrace black and white tiled floor, deep soaking tub, and porcelain pedestal sink. If exceptional daylight and expansive city views are on your list of must haves. We invite you to visit this ideal setting boasting extra-large casement style windows that frame the very impressive Hudson Yards development, Empire State Building and Manhattan's most famous architectural marvels.

This setting enjoys extraordinary morning sunlight with constant northern light streaming in throughout the day. The Co-ops resident amenity package includes use of heat, hot water, gas, 1/2 Olympic size indoor heated pool, men and women's locker facilities, steam rooms and saunas. A state-of-the-art fitness center welcomes one's own personal trainers (or utilize our in-house professionals). Also included is our lushly planted and teak furnished roof deck (w/ shower). You'll be in awe when taking in the breathtaking views of Manhattan's most famous landmark buildings, New Jersey skyline in the distance and the bustling Hudson River.

One will surely feel like royalty upon entering our 24 hour attended lobbies, (ceilings styled after a famous Palace in London). Pets are also welcome. There is an indoor garage (not part of Co-op) located on premises (separate fee applies). Unlimited subleasing post 1-year ownership.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
