This mint and meticulously renovated 3,200 square foot tower residence floats 60-stories above Lower Manhattan and offers mesmerizing views and a level of high-end luxury seldom seen in today's market. Completely reimagined by legendary French designer Thierry Despont, this remarkable home exudes the utmost style and sophistication and can be sold completely furnished as a museum-quality installation with hand-selected furnishings, rare vintage lighting and exquisite finishes throughout. From the moment you step off the keyed-elevator to the private "jewel-box" vestibule papered in elegant copper and gold leaf, you know you've arrived someplace special. Exotic wenge wood doors with a high-gloss lacquered finish open to a gracious foyer where a long gallery leads to one of New York's most magnificent entertaining spaces, a corner Living/Dining room wrapped in glass and featuring soaring ceilings, elegant herringbone floors and the most spectacular views imaginable encompassing the Hudson and East Rivers, the iconic midtown skyline, the bridges and the outer boroughs beyond. Commanding during the day, and sparkling at night, the intoxicating views draw you in and offer a unique connection to the city that is both magical and unforgettable.

Beyond the Living room, you'll find the gorgeous open state-of-the-art chef's kitchen, an enormous room ideal for enjoying casual meals or staging memorable dinner and cocktail parties. Bathed in light from floor-to-ceiling windows and offering more unobstructed views, this incredible kitchen is anchored by a massive 10-foot quartz center-island and features endless custom Molteni cabinetry, multiple pantry closets, and top-of-the-line Wolfe, Miele and SubZero appliances including a 5-burner gas cooktop, dual steam and convection ovens, a warming drawer, built-in coffee station and a 1,000 bottle temperature-controlled wine refrigerator.

The luxury continues off the dining area where custom lacquered pocket doors slide open to reveal a large comfortable media room with sumptuous cashmere upholstered walls and a sculptural Bang & Olufsen Beovision-Harmony TV with surround sound speakers providing the ultimate home theater experience. This lavish retreat easily converts back to a guest bedroom and offers large fitted closets, a striking marble bathroom and breathtaking views that are guaranteed to inspire.

Beyond the entertaining space, a long hallway lined with tinted plaster walls leads two bedrooms and two spa-quality bathrooms. The palatial primary bedroom suite is a serene sanctuary wrapped in a curved wall of floor-to-ceiling glass offering sweeping sunrise-to-sunset views of the East River, Downtown skyline, New York Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The astonishing views are only rivaled by the bespoke finishes that embrace you with luxury at every turn including sumptuous silk carpeting, upholstered Loro Piana cashmere walls, custom silk and taffeta blackout draperies, and fully-fitted closets with custom-milled bureaus lined with plush suede inserts. Absolutely sublime! The adjoining windowed bathroom is clad in floor-to-ceiling marble and offers cozy in-floor heating, a custom dual vanity, glass-enclosed rain-shower and deep soaking tub with gorgeous views. Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
