Property Description for 926 Pacific Street, 2

Have it all in this exciting and sun-filled 3 bed, 2 bath duplex with loads of private outdoor space, situated at the crossroads of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights. Built just three years ago, this stunning 3-unit CONDO is the perfect blend of modern luxuries with a nod to the traditional neighboring brownstones, but elevated in design and comfort. Offering central heating and cooling, spa-like bathrooms, a professional-style kitchen, great storage, high ceilings, and designer lighting in every room, this is a home that can be moved right into without doing any work at all. Just one flight up, this duplex offers a wide and loft-like living space with a private terrace perfectly located right outside your dining and living areas, making outdoor life a breeze. For those buyers who love gardening and outdoor entertaining on a grander scale, you also get half the roofdeck for yourself, perfect for lots of lounging furniture, a BBQ, and of course, panoramic views over the low-rise buildings and treetops for which this location is so beloved. Enter into a generous foyer which the current owner uses as mudroom and an elegant bar and wine storage area. Stunning oak herringbone floors lead you into the Great Room where a chef's kitchen awaits, just steps to your dining area and overlooking a sunny and spacious living room. With a wall of windows facing due South onto the private terrace, you will be guaranteed incredible light all-day long both inside AND on your ample deck. Oversized and comfortable furniture will feel right at home in this space, as well as a dining table for large gatherings. The kitchen has been cleverly designed to accommodate a spacious dining island perfect for prep and casual meals, while sleek and practical white custom cabinetry both above and below will house all of your cooking tools. A Bosch cooktop and oven with a pullout vent-hood allow you to indulge your inner chef, while white Quartz countertops with a waterfall edge lend minimalist beauty and everyday cooking practicality to this spacious kitchen. A deep pantry sits right across from the kitchen and doubles as a utility and coat closet. Head back to the front of this modernist beauty where you will pass a laundry closet complete with a full-sized Miele washer and dryer and even more storage. Two bedrooms on this floor both look over the quiet and picturesque block complete with full-sized trees and an eclectic blend of historic and modern architecture. Both offer great closets and make terrific home offices/guest rooms or even a home gym. A full bathroom on this floor includes a deep soaking tub with a glass enclosure, floating vanity for storage, and soothing gray-toned oversized tiles. In the center of this floor is a dramatic oak and steel staircase that has been enclosed by a glass partition that provides ease and safety for kids and pets alike. Head up this staircase while enjoying an oversized custom cascading glass chandelier lending drama and design to the experience. At the top of the stairs is a Primary suite extraordinaire. A full curtain wall of divided light windows in the bedroom allows you to enjoy the greenery that surrounds you, and a windowed bathroom is a delight. Complete with a double vanity and a glass-enclosed shower awash in natural light plus a large vanity with fantastic drawer space. Oversized white marble floor and wall tiles add to the simple beauty of the space. Enjoy great space and the feeling of a mini-townhouse with all the bells and whistles with every restaurant and amenity at your doorstep including the Vanderbilt avenue Open Streets program with its endless supply of award-winning dining and shops, Washington Avenue, and of course Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Barclay's Center and the Botanical Gardens all a stone's throw away. This is Brooklyn's most exciting neighborhood with easy transportation options and the perfect blend of old and new at every turn. Pet friendly, parents allowed to buy for children and subletting allowed. And don't miss the low monthlies and extra basement storage too!

Crown Heights | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Originally known as Crown Hill by the Lenape Indians that lived there, Crown Heights has evolved into a diverse neighborhood, occupied primarily by Hasidic Jews and one of the largest Caribbean populations to be found anywhere outside of the West Indies.

Head over to Nostrand Avenue, one of the main West Indian commercial areas in the neighborhood, which is lined with stores that have been in those exact same places for generations, providing their goods and services to area residents. Kingston Avenue has similar commercial activities that support the Jewish community, and Franklin Avenue shows the most signs of change and gentrification, with an ever-expanding mix of yoga studios, coffee shops, and organic grocery stores that serve the influx of young professionals. No matter which of these areas you visit, you will find an interesting mix of businesses that you wouldn’t normally picture as existing side-by-side. It is all part of the cultural diversity of Crown Heights.

The neighborhood is bisected, from east to west, by Eastern Parkway, which is a beautiful, 3-mile-long boulevard lined with mature trees. This leafy oasis was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of Central Park, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D. C.

You will find a mix of low-rise apartment buildings, large middle-class elevator buildings, brownstones, and some luxury buildings. Century-old architecture stands next to modern residential developments in a visually interesting mix of styles, much as the diversity of the residents exists. People who would not normally meet and mix are forging new pathways to cultural understanding by working, living, and playing together in the same neighborhood.
