Property Description for 50 Bridge Street, 611

DUMBO 3 BEDROOM - 2.5 BATHROOM MINT CONDITION TRIPLEX WITH TWO TERRACES. PARKING SPACE AVAILABLE VIA SEPARATE AGREEMENT WITH OWNER.

From start to finish, this renovation was meticulously crafted. Featuring a brand new kitchen with appliances, bathrooms with fixtures, flooring, paint, lighting, and various other appointments, no stone was left unturned.

Entering the unit, one has the option of adjoining to the first of two luxury full lavatories, stepping into the laundry room w/ storage, or continuing on to the entertaining floor.

The entertaining floor of the residence houses an immaculate and spacious kitchen, complete with state-of-the-art appliances, gorgeous smart-touch cabinetry, new counters, and an incredible odor purification system. This floor also houses a spacious "food prep area" next to the over-sized refrigerator and freezer, abundant pantry and home-storage, and a cleverly concealed home-office solution. The extra-large living and dining areas are also on this level, as well as the guest terrace, which is perfect for a sunrise coffee or cappuccino.

The second floor is mezzanined above the first and houses two abundantly spacious rooms with beds and a jill-and-jack half-bathroom.

The pinnacle floor is a triumph all of its own and comes with floor-to-ceiling walk-in closet, five-fixture primary lavatory, and amazing private roof terraces.

Other thoughtful components of the apartment is the wine fridge, the multiple TOTO toilets, soft-touch lighting, automatic floor-to-ceiling shades, and a multi-zoned air conditioning arrangement.

Last but certainly not least, we come to a... PARKING SPACE. Landlord currently leases a full-sized parking space complete with Tesla / EV charger in a neighboring building and is willing to assign that space to their future tenant under separate agreement.

This blue-chip condominium has a part-time doorman, live-in super, roof deck, bike storage, private storage, laundry room, and parking.

NOTE: The terrace shot is virtually rendered and the second & third bedrooms are lofted on the second floor. Traditional bedrooms can be constructed on the entertaining floor, as noted in the alternate floorplan.

Dumbo | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

DUMBO, which is an acronym for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, used to be a lively industrial and manufacturing zone, full of large factories and warehouses. These buildings have now been converted into expansive lofts, theaters, galleries, and office spaces for start-up companies. These larger residential spaces are attractive to families and creative artists and writers who need space to dream and create.

DUMBO was named in 1978 as a sort of reverse marketing ploy to try to keep people from swarming into the area, attracted by the quaint tree-lined streets, elegant historic brownstones, large lofts, and views of Lower Manhattan. It was felt that this influx of people would change the nature of the neighborhood. It was hoped that by giving the area a ridiculous name, nobody would want to live there.

Many of the neighborhood’s bars, hotels, and restaurants capitalize on the stunning waterfront views and the Manhattan skyline in the background. Interesting and fun cultural events are held under and around the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges that connect DUMBO to Manhattan. One of these is the annual Oktoberfest.

With beautiful vignettes of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges being framed around every corner, DUMBO provides residents and tourists with charming, and often surprising, views. Because the neighborhood is eminently walkable and filled with unique shops, it feels like a small town on the edge of a major urban waterfront. Once people move to DUMBO, they tend to stay and become involved in the community.
