Property Description

Just Listed! This sun-bathed, 1 Bedroom/1 Bath condo in one of Tribeca's finest luxury buildings -- 200 Chambers Street -- shines in every way. A well-packaged gem on a high floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows and striking views of the Tribeca skyline. This special home offers flexible and easy living -- with a wonderful sense of the neighborhood outside.

A large entry foyer, with closets galore, unfolds into a spacious living/dining room with oak floors. Just adjacent to it is a high-end, galley kitchen equipped with Viking, Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances, ample cabinets and stone counter top. It's a layout that makes cooking, dining, entertaining, and just hanging out very easy. The bedroom is generously sized with a full wall of closet space, and can easily fit a king-size bed. The attractive, Calacatta marble tiled bathroom has a deep soaking tub. There's also a washer/dryer.

What makes this apartment even more special is its location at 200 Chambers Street -- a sleek, full- service building with an extraordinary array of amenities and a service-oriented staff that makes sure it's a great place to live. In addition to 24-hour Doorman service in a dramatic double-height marble lobby, there's a 5,000 SF landscaped terrace on the 8th floor with spectacular views of the Hudson River; a 50-foot-high sky-lit indoor heated lap pool; a 24-hour fitness center; a residents lounge; a children's play room; a conference room; a parking garage, and a garden.

200 Chambers is located just off the Hudson River in Tribeca -- a sophisticated, chic neighborhood with a mellow vibe and a mix of old historic charm, cobblestone streets, sleek new architecture and riverside parks. This neighborhood is full of fine dining, interesting boutiques and shops, and major retailers, such as Whole Foods; Barnes & Noble; Bed, and Bath & Beyond, among others. There's convenient access to major subways, bus, Path, and ferry transportation, and it's a great biking location.

Apartment 16F at 200 Chambers Street is the perfect home, pied-a-terre, or investment.

Showings and open house are by appointment only.

One Bed in Tribeca

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
