Property Description for 19 Dutch Street, 61-G

5 Month short term rental with the option to renew to a 12 month lease.

Welcome to 19 Dutch. A unique residence and singular experience.

Apartment 61G, a meticulously renovated converted 3 bed, 2 bath Available April, 1 . As you enter, you are greeted by a spacious and light filled home with floor to ceiling windows, and a stunning chef's kitchen. With 4 exposures, enjoy 360 degrees of up close and open views of some of New York's most iconic views of the East River, most of Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, and the Verrazano Bridge. Also a southern and western view (with partial views of the Hudson River).

The Kitchen is exceptionally well-appointed by Bertazzoni to entice even the most discerning chef. Bosch refrigerators are tucked behind white-paneled cabinets, and similarly hidden dishwashers from Blomberg create smooth transitions to the rest of the living space. Elegant countertops in blizzard-white quartz provide a luminous complement to the natural light pouring in from floor-to-ceiling windows. Quartz is found in the bathroom as well, where custom vanities and ceramic tiling add an artisan's touch. Laundry, also from Bosch, is neatly tucked away yet easily accessible. And a subtle use of smart technology for temperature control provides a convenient counterbalance to the elemental materials found throughout the residence. Top notch amenities in the building. On the 3rd floor is the event lounge, great room, private conference room, and 2 kitchen spaces. The 4th floor has the gym, outdoor terrace, and kids play room. The roof on the 64th floor has an indoor and outdoor area that is incomparable as well.

Note: A wall was put up to make the apartment a 3 bedroom ( tenant got permission from the landlord), this can be taken down to have a larger living room or kept up as you wish!

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
