Property Description for 251 East 32nd Street, 3-J

PRICE REDUCTION ON GENEROUS ONE BEDROOM! MOTIVATED SELLER

This 1 bedroom corner unit has a great floor plan showcasing a large living/dining suite with a hallway on the opposite side leading into the bedroom. Views onto townhouse gardens give the space a European feel. Wood floors throughout and five abundant closets. Quiet and spacious enough for a home office.

The updated kitchen has wood cabinets, quartz countertops, tiled backsplash and floor. You can open the kitchen to create direct access to the dining area (shown in the Alternate floor plan). The bedroom which is large enough for a King Size bed has excellent light, with North and West exposures and a wall of closets, including a walk in. The bath has wainscoting, tiled floors and a pedestal sink. The apartment is empty, so photos of the living and bedroom are virtually staged.

Riverview East is a full-service smoke-free co-op on a quiet tree-lined street with a newly renovated lobby, 24-hour doorman, resident super, on-site laundry and garage, bike storage and a very attentive staff. This dynamic location is across from Fairway, an AMC 12-Plex Theater and minutes from Trader Joe's, Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond and many restaurants and fitness centers! Convenient to NYU medical facilities and transportation.

Two Pets are welcome (Dogs under 40 pounds).Subletting allowed after two years for two years out of five years with Board Approval and then the cycle resets. No Pied-a-Terres or Guarantors.

All measurements and square footage are approximate and all information should be confirmed by customer.

Kips Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

If you take a walk through Kips Bay, which is loosely defined as the area between 23rd street and 34th street and the East River to almost Lexington, you’ll quickly learn it's a hodgepodge of sorts and not as well defined as other neighborhoods in New York City. Some New Yorkers say Kips Bay has an identity crisis because 1st, 2nd, and 3rd avenues are distinctly different from one another as you traverse them. Despite the perceived lack of neighborhood vibe there are others that appreciate its affordability and convenience.

First Avenue is dominated by hospitals and hospital buildings such as NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital to name a few. Second Avenue is a mosaic of convenience stores, fast food joints and nondescript brick buildings. Third Avenue is saturated with small bars and gastropubs and the twenty somethings that patronize them.

No judgement against Kips Bay here. It’s a great neighborhood that is just as much a part of New York City as any other neighborhood. Kips Bay It’s bordered by Murray Hill to the North, Stuyvesant Town and Gramercy Park to the South, and Rose Hill to the West. The neighborhood is partly defined by newer high-rise apartments, brick rowhouses, and former tenement buildings.
