Property Description for 67 Liberty Street, 7

Have you been waiting for an exceptional, authentic 1BR in FiDi to hit the market? We invite you to tour this massive 1BR loft in a rare boutique condo building in FiDi's most convenient location. Located just off Broadway on quiet Liberty Street, close to the transit hubs, but tucked away from the bustle, this fantastic boutique condominium building offers a "Tribeca" experience in a smaller package: One unit per floor, keyed elevator, discreet remote doorman/video entry allowing for deliveries, and a package room. What really sets this building apart from most other smaller condos in the neighborhood is the reasonable carrying costs: $2.19 psf foot for common charges and taxes combined. The lobby is subtle elegance: compact, bright, and understated. Swipe your key fob to select floor 7, step off the elevator into the entry hall, and behold the massive Great Room. The size of this living area, even in a 2BR home, is extremely rare in FiDi. Huge picture windows facing south and elegant wide-planked white oak flooring lend a clean Scandi vibe to the space. The open kitchen is the heart of this home, offering everything a dedicated home chef might desire: stainless Miele refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave drawer, Caesar stone countertops, white mocha mahogany cabinetry, professional-style stainless range, tile backsplash, and under-counter lighting. No need to leave the apartment to get rid of trash: you have your own chute right off the kitchen! As you proceed to the north side of the apartment, you'll find a large laundry room: washer/dryer, stone floor, and loads of storage space. The spacious bathroom is pure pleasure: marble floors and a double vanity top, natural artisan-style Travertine stone tiles in a warm neutral tone, a deep soaking tub, and a large Koehler rain shower. This apartment doesn't just have a "real" bedroom but one with a delightful, windowed bonus space that could serve as a dressing room, a home office, or a nursery. Step onto your private balcony and greet the day! Want more sun, or to take in the city lights? There is also a common roof deck. Listed taxes based on "investor" status: An owner-occupiers' bill can be ~17% lower. Text or email us today to arrange a showing!

Financial District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Financial District (FiDi) today is a bit of a hybrid neighborhood, as the residential component continues to grow in an area that has been historically dominated by the financial and insurance industries. The residential experiment, which began more than two decades ago, continues to evolve in an area with a large concentration of older, large office buildings. Developers have taken to these aged buildings and have re-positioned them as residential properties. In turn, the public spaces, services and retail establishments needed for a thriving residential neighborhood have followed making this an important destination for city residents.

Since 2000, the residential population of the Financial District has nearly tripled in size from about 23,000 residents to more than 60,000 inhabitants. Many of the residential pioneers to FiDi were people attracted to the lower rents in the neighborhood, particularly the post-collegiate crowd. While the millennials still maintain a large footprint here, there are plenty of families that now consider the Wall Street area home.

Many of those that live in the Financial District walk to work. If you reside here and need to commute elsewhere, the transportation from here is about as good as it gets. Express trains can take you to Midtown, either east or west, in twenty minutes. Brooklyn is but a single subway stop away. There are also ferries across to Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
