Property Description for 250 West Street, 10-E

Just one floor from the top of the building, 10 E is a sunny 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment with a dining room, loft like living room and an oversized primary closet that could easily double as a home gym. Every oversized window offers stupendous Hudson River views perfect for watching the boats and a stunning nightly sunset. The large dining room could easily be turned into an interior office/guest bedroom. The open gourmet kitchen with Poggenpohl white-lacquer cabinetry, white-quartz countertops, a Subzero refrigerator, Bosch stove, range and dishwasher feeds seamlessly into the communal living area creating a downtown loft like feeling in an otherwise elegant and formal apartment. The primary wing has a built out closet the size of most large bedrooms and a five piece bathroom with high end finishes. The second bedroom has great closets, an en-suite bath with the same level of finishes. There is a washer and dryer in the unit.

In the heart of TriBeCa's landmark historic district, 250 West Street - the monumental former warehouse built in 1906 - is being transformed into a unique collection of 106 luxury condominium residences by developer El Ad Group and designed by GNA Architects. Overlooking the Hudson River and Hudson River Park's new Piers 25 and 26, offering activities including, a children's playground, a miniature golf course, beach volleyball courts and more, the building's majestic exterior will return to its early 20th century origins including two magnificent iron gates and the restorations of its cornice, arched windows and grand entryways. Residents will pass through the building's iron gates and into a magnificent lobby with separate library lounge. In addition to its huge size and soaring height, the lobby ends at an exquisite window wall that looks onto a beautifully designed and unique 61-foot pool and lounge. The two-level amenity areas also include a state-of-the-art fitness center and a delightful children's playroom To complete this amenity package, 250 West will also offer a 5000 sq ft common roof terrace with panoramic views, sundeck, lounge and dining area. Every home is inclusive of an open chefs kitchen that is well thought out for every day living and entertaining. These functional and beautifully appointed kitchens include Poggenpohl cabinetry, an integrated Subzero refrigerator, Bosch stove, range and dishwasher. Every residence offers luxurious, spacious bathrooms with hand-laid imported marble and 5 inch plank oak hardwood floors throughout. The residences will be well taken care of in this full service building with a live-in super and full time concierge/doorman.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
