Property Description for 667 Jefferson Ave

Enter 667 Jefferson Ave, where the seamless integration of
historical charm and modern comfort invites you. This 20-foot-wide brownstone,
originally built in 1899 and meticulously renovated in 2022-23, warmly welcomes
you with a delightful fusion of the past and present.

Upon stepping inside, the foyer smoothly transitions you
from the outside world to your personal sanctuary. You first notice the
herringbone-patterned floors, featuring a walnut inlay double border, and the
inviting fireplace showcase meticulous craftsmanship, seamlessly connecting
each room. The open living and spacious dining area, adorned with double pane
casement windows, bathes the space in abundant light, evoking a timeless and
inviting sense of grace.

Explore the chef's kitchen, boasting a generous island
crowned with a waterfall marble design and equipped with two ovens for
simplified cooking. A delightful surprise awaits in the pantry - a captivating wine
cellar that appeals to both wine enthusiasts and avid hosts. Continuing your
journey, a generous terrace extends from the kitchen, seamlessly linking to the
backyard, creating an ideal setting for outdoor dining, leisure, or hosting.

As you ascend the stairs, natural light floods in through a
generous skylight, illuminating the way to the upper levels. Here, a stunning
primary suite awaits, accompanied by an opulent bathroom featuring double
sinks, a rainfall showerhead, and a deep soaking bathtub enclosed in a glassed,
drained area, creating a spa-like ambiance. Two additional bedrooms, another
full bathroom, and a conveniently located laundry room complete this level.

The exploration doesn't end there - a high-ceiling cellar
with a half bath connected to the owner's duplex awaits your creative touch.
This versatile space can transform into an entertainment hub, a home gym, office,
playroom or design to suit your imagination.

The garden floor hosts a separate two-bedroom rental unit,
equipped with a washer and dryer accessible from both inside and outside the
brownstone. This offers flexibility for rental income or an extension of your
living space.

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
