Property Description for 14 Second Ave, 8

This is a CYOF (Collect Your Own Fee) listing – tenant broker (if any) to collect own fee. Be the FIRST to live on the entire 8th floor of this brand new condominium! Unit 8 is a spectacular 1613 sq ft full-floor home with keyed elevator access directly into the unit, panoramic views of the city in every direction, and luxuries that check all the boxes: over 9' ceilings, beautiful wide plank oak hardwood flooring, a full-sized vented washer/dryer, keyless fob entry, multi-zone split-system AC and heat, and an extra-large storage room in the basement. The layout is an entertainer's dream, with an open concept kitchen and a full Miele appliance package including wine fridge, garbage disposal, and best of all an externally exhausting range hood. An additional massive pantry can serve a variety of needs and uses. Each bedroom has two different exposures, excellent views of the city, and generous closet space. Two beautifully designed bathrooms feature honed marble surfaces, glass rain shower, large Zuma soaking tub, and heated floors. The primary en-suite bathroom has a double vanity and a picturesque South-facing window with a park view. 14 Second Avenue, also known as Treetop Condominium, is a new development building with only 10 full-floor units for ultimate privacy and intimacy. The building has a common fitness center, virtual doorman, package room, rooftop with electric grill, and private storage. This enviable location sits at the crossroads of several neighborhoods - the East Village, the Lower East Side, Nolita, and Noho. Adding to the location's convenience are all the best shops, restaurants, parks, and points of interest of lower Manhattan as well as multiple subway lines minutes away. Pets considered on case-by-case basis. No smoking. Available immediately.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
