Indulge your love of light and water views from every single room in this apartment, including all three bedrooms, the living room, the dining area, and the kitchen. Built just four years ago, this beauty has been well-maintained AND upgraded and is in even better condition now than when it was brand-new. It also offers the discerning buyer the opportunity to live in luxury but enjoy low common charges, a large private storage room, a children's play room and ample bike storage in addition to your oversized on-grade parking space (perfect for the largest of SUV's!)! This boutique 28-unit building features timeless interiors by the award-winning Meshberg Group, and is distinguished by a stunning brick fa ade designed by Brooklyn favorites, CWB architects. Perfectly integrated with the neighboring brownstone architecture, it offers the comforts of a condo and the intimacy of a townhouse. An extra-large chef's kitchen has been outfitted with a suite of Gaggenau appliances including a 5-burner vented stove and a French door fridge, all custom paneled to match the gorgeous locally-built oak and white lacquer cabinetry that includes a custom pantry and more storage than you could ever imagine. Striking Calacatta Gold marble countertops and backsplash elevate the space and also offer a dining and prep island, perfect for casual meals and intricately prepared feasts. The dining space adjacent to the kitchen accommodates a dining table for many with water and sky views and a backdrop of endless sunsets. The neighboring living room shares this magnificent view and easily supports a gracious Great Room large enough for oversized furniture. Guests enjoy a stunning powder room off the common spaces, while the three bedrooms in their own separate wing enjoy two spacious bathrooms. All three baths have been designed with indulgence in mind and feature Waterworks cross-handled fixtures, custom oak vanities, Carrara marble floors and walls, and recessed medicine cabinets. The Primary bath offers an oversized shower, radiant heated floors, and double sink, while the guest bath offers a tub/shower combo, radiant heated floors, plus an additional linen closet. A spacious closet houses your very own Bosch washer and dryer with even more storage. The Primary suite is a vision to behold, complete with a customized walk-in closet, while the second and third bedrooms are spacious with great closets. Throughout the apartment you will enjoy multi-zoned heating and cooling, solid-core doors, nickel hardware, and breathtaking white oak floors with a magnificent herringbone floor in the Great Room. A private roofdeck is accessible from your very own staircase, where you can enjoy coffee in the quiet of the morning, or sunset cocktails. The deck has been outfitted with easy-to-maintain perennial trees, flowers and shrubs, complete with an irrigation system, providing the perfect natural backdrop for star gazing and watching the boats go by while enjoying Al Fresco dining. This is a dream come true for urban dwellers with a passion for the great outdoors. And don't forget that you can drive right into your very own indoor parking space, OR walk to award-winning restaurants, shops and amenities in every direction including Colonie, Hibino and Henry Public, plus gourmet shopping like Sahadi's, Della Pietros and Trader Joe's, public parks like Cobble Hill and Brooklyn Bridge Park, and of course public and private schools of all varieties. Cobble Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The neighborhood now known as Cobble Hill was originally settled by Dutch farmers in the mid-1600s. Tucked along the East River, in the heart of Brooklyn, Cobble Hill is known for its welcoming, leafy streets, independent mom-and-pop shops, and 19th century brownstones.

Most of Cobble Hill lies within an historic landmark district, and building heights are restricted to 50 feet, which helps maintain its 19th century atmosphere. Building owners will often split the use of their four- or five-story buildings, occupying several of the top floors and renting out the ground floor as apartments or, conversely, occupying one or more of the lower floors and renting out the top floors. New construction and alterations to existing buildings in the historic district require approval by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, which helps maintain the historic character of the Cobble Hill neighborhood.

Although most housing in Cobble Hill consists of traditional brownstones and brick townhouses,, you will also find churches that have been converted to condos, carriage houses that have become luxury apartments and Victorian school houses that have been converted into lofts.

Court Street and Atlantic Avenue are the main commercial streets in the neighborhood. You will find popular Middle Eastern restaurants on Atlantic Avenue. Court Street is home to casual restaurants, many with outdoor seating, relaxed cafes and hip bars.

Many young professionals and families live in the brownstones, townhouses, and single-family homes that line the leafy streets. Cobble Hill is a great place to live if you work on Wall Street, as you can walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to work.
