Property Description for 11 West 30th Street, 11-F

Completely redesigned to perfection, Residence 11F is a truly special loft boasting three bedrooms, three private terraces and over 2,400 square feet. Upon entering, one is greeted by a massive great room that encompasses a sun-drenched living room with open city views, chef's kitchen, separate den, and dedicated dining space. Custom glass and steel doors frame the living spaces and lead to two of the residence's private terraces.

Wrapped in oversized windows, this south and west facing home is bathed in sunlight throughout the day. The open chef's kitchen is anchored by a stunning 16' Carrera Gold marble island which offers additional seating and ample storage. Custom wooden kitchen cabinets with a veneer finish and top of the line appliances are found throughout including a Miele cooktop with Thermador hood, two American Range wall ovens, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher. Overlooking the living and dining spaces, and complete with a Sonos-enabled surround sound system, the kitchen offers the perfect canvas for entertaining.

The primary suite is thoughtfully positioned beyond the living areas, offering northern and western exposures and direct access to the third terrace. The primary bathroom features a generous walk-in shower and extra-long double sink with ample storage. Two additional closets supplement the walk-in closet.

The second bathroom, conveniently situated across the hall, features a luxurious deep soaking tub and a sleek Duravit sink. Currently functioning as a spacious home office, the third bedroom serves a versatile space, equipped with a hideaway Murphy bed and custom built-in storage.

Additional highlights in this thoughtful home include 10'6" ceilings, a fully equipped laundry area, 4-inch plank oil-rubbed oak wood flooring, a 4-zoned A/C system, and original loft windows. The architect seamlessly married the original loft character with modern updates.

11 West 30th Street provides residents with video intercom security, superintendent, a beautifully renovated lobby space, a key-locked elevator and Verizon Fios. The building is pet-friendly and permits the option for live/work spaces. The building is perfectly situated in prime NoMad - near Madison Square Park, New York's best restaurants and shopping and countless transportation options.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
