Highly coveted studio apartment rental @ 24 Fifth Avenue is now available and gives you access to this beautiful prewar 24-hour doorman full-service building in the heart of Greenwich Village.

I have been actively connecting tenants & buyers with their new homes here for 33 years now.

Immerse yourself in this classic prewar world as first envisioned by the renowned architectural team of Emery Roth & Sons back circa 1924. You will know you have found your new home as you enjoy traversing 5th avenue as it meets 9th Street, which is arguably one of the most desirable central locations in the city. Many New Yorkers refer to this small area of Greenwich Village as the Gold Coast. As you enter the building, you will be welcomed by a combination of an immense grand lobby & warm staff that is rare to find these days.

The apartment itself is in excellent condition as it's totally renovated.

Apartment features include hardwood floors, high beamed ceiling, quiet north exposure, and a large walk-in closet.

Kitchen is smaller as this building was originally built as the Fifth Avenue Hotel on the site of the Brevoort Mansion. The kitchen still has a full oven and a full fridge.

24 Fifth Avenue is a highly desirable prewar building boasting a grand elegant lobby, 24-hour doorman, full staff of porters, resident superintendent, onsite management, state-of-the-art fitness center, modern laundry room, bike room, and storage. The building now hosts the hugely popular restaurant Claudette with serene & beautiful outdoor seating.

Greenwich Village is the nexus of the prime downtown vibe with great access to Washington Square & Union Square Parks, multiple mass transit options, great retail, restaurants, cafes & so much more.

Greenwich Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Birthplace of beatniks, Greenwich Village has always been a neighborhood bursting with creativity, home to artists, poets, musicians and writers. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood, as it gives convenient access to many other neighborhoods. There are a lot of popular eateries on MacDougal Street and bars on Bleecker Street. The neighborhood has a bit of a college-town feel, due to the presence of NYU. There aren’t large chain stores here, so it isn’t really a mecca for shopaholics, but you can find interesting vintage stores and specialty boutiques.

Available housing is centered on pre-war walk-ups. You can find good deals on the quieter, tree-lined side streets, as opposed to the bustling avenues. There are pockets of brownstones and townhouses, some dating back to the early 19th century, throughout the neighborhood, as well. You will find more luxurious housing in the newer high-rise buildings on Park and Fifth Avenues.

Washington Square Park is the heart of the neighborhood. If you sit near the Arch and close your eyes, you might catch an echo of the music and social history of the Park, floating through the air. Greats like Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon started their storied careers right here in Greenwich Village. Today, the Village is a celebration of diversity, where everyone is welcome.
