Property Description for 77 Fulton Street, 14-F

City Views!

Fully renovated and unique one-bedroom at Southbridge Towers. Move-in ready as soon as you close. Everything has been thought of. Rarely does a fully renovated one-bedroom apartment at Southbridge come on the market. Here is your chance to avoid spending a fortune on renovations and just move in right after closing. Many nice features such as a brand new AC; fully renovated modern kitchen with dishwasher (Samsung and GE Appliances) with porcelain tiles, a work station and exquisitely designed spice cabinets; and a fully renovated bathroom with Grohn fixtures. The living room has a clever slider door to separate the huge living space if one wants to create an instant private guest bedroom space. Come and see for yourself. You won't want to miss this one.

77 Fulton Street is in the heart of the exciting Fulton/Seaport section of the Financial District, offering a fantastic location, with very low maintenance, which includes electricity and heat. Residents of Southbridge Towers enjoy staffed lobbies, a private playground, newly installed private basketball and pickle ball courts, benches and umbrella-tables for residents only, newly renovated (and fast) marble-lined elevators and a modern laundry room. On-site storage space is available for an additional monthly charge, and, hard to believe: monthly ICON valet parking for shareholders is just $130/month (with a waitlist of approximately one year). And Key Food market is less than 100 feet from your lobby for quick grocery runs.

The South Street Seaport is just two blocks away, providing great restaurants (including the internationally celebrated Jean Georges Tin Building), nightlife, and shopping, while the Fulton Center brings world-class retail and unbeatable transportation to the neighborhood, including--just one short block away-- the entrance to the 2/3, 4/5, A/C, J/Z, and R trains. Co-purchasing, pied-terre, pets, and subletting are all permitted.

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
