Introducing Unit 1 at 633 Prospect Place, a flawless two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium poised within a stunning brick townhouse in the heart of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. This south facing beauty has over 1500 square feet of living space spread out over two levels, not to mention a storybook backyard that spans nearly 1200 square feet.

As you enter this flawless home, you are greeted by a loft-like living room and kitchen combination. The kitchen features Viking and Miele appliances, solid wood white shaker cabinets and a massive Caesarstone concrete waterfall island. The ample living space is framed by oversized Pella casement windows and custom window treatments. Down a spacious hallway, you will find the two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both of which overlook an enchanting garden that rivals the backyard of any suburban home.

The oversized primary bedroom is large enough for a king bed and has a separate nook for a desk or workout station, not to mention a walk-through closet that leads into a luxury en-suite bathroom haven. The primary bath features chevron mosaic Carrara marble, deep-soaking Toto tub and a separate walk-in shower. Through lovely double glass doors on the other side of the bedroom, you can access your very own fully landscaped backyard. This massive outdoor space is fully landscaped with verdant grass, cobble pavers and irrigation lines throughout to keep your greenery lush by only turning on the hose.

The second bedroom is adjacent to the primary suite and features a large closet and custom window treatments. The second bathroom is located in the hallway and is pleasing to the eye with another deep Toto soaking tub and stylish tile throughout.

The lower level of this unit is accessed via an interior staircase adjacent to the kitchen that leads down to a large rec room. The space is currently setup as a gym, play space and office combination. Use your imagination to see how this 400 square foot rec room can adapt to any lifestyle and be used in a variety of ways. This level can be accessed from a separate entrance via the street.

633 Prospect Place was converted to condos in 2018 and this impeccable unit has had only one owner since the condo's inception. Additional amenities include central heat and air, low monthly charges, common roof deck, intercom, washer/dryer and it is wired for a security system.

Crown Heights | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Originally known as Crown Hill by the Lenape Indians that lived there, Crown Heights has evolved into a diverse neighborhood, occupied primarily by Hasidic Jews and one of the largest Caribbean populations to be found anywhere outside of the West Indies.

Head over to Nostrand Avenue, one of the main West Indian commercial areas in the neighborhood, which is lined with stores that have been in those exact same places for generations, providing their goods and services to area residents. Kingston Avenue has similar commercial activities that support the Jewish community, and Franklin Avenue shows the most signs of change and gentrification, with an ever-expanding mix of yoga studios, coffee shops, and organic grocery stores that serve the influx of young professionals. No matter which of these areas you visit, you will find an interesting mix of businesses that you wouldn’t normally picture as existing side-by-side. It is all part of the cultural diversity of Crown Heights.

The neighborhood is bisected, from east to west, by Eastern Parkway, which is a beautiful, 3-mile-long boulevard lined with mature trees. This leafy oasis was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of Central Park, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D. C.

You will find a mix of low-rise apartment buildings, large middle-class elevator buildings, brownstones, and some luxury buildings. Century-old architecture stands next to modern residential developments in a visually interesting mix of styles, much as the diversity of the residents exists. People who would not normally meet and mix are forging new pathways to cultural understanding by working, living, and playing together in the same neighborhood.
