Embrace extraordinary designer loft living and private outdoor space in this spacious, beautifully updated three-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium that radiates warmth and industrial chic style in the heart of Tribeca.

Spanning nearly 2,000 square feet, this impressive loft showplace welcomes you with 13-foot-tall ceilings that soar over exposed brick, hardwood floors and massive windows. Relax and entertain in the stunning great room featuring southern exposures and a dramatic art wall. The wood-burning marble fireplace is topped by oak cabinetry concealing A/V equipment and flanked by floor-to-ceiling library shelves and ladders wrought from cast iron and bottle glass. The newly opened and renovated chef's kitchen elevates your culinary experience with rich wood cabinetry, stone countertops and arabesque tile backsplashes surrounding a fleet of Viking stainless steel appliances, including a vented gas range, French door refrigerator and dishwasher.

Down the hall, discover a sprawling owner's suite that opens to a private paved terrace. Built-in apothecary shelves are perfect for shoes or curios, while the massive custom closet with unique herringbone leather flooring tames even the largest wardrobes. Ahead, the en suite spa bath gleams with swaths of Calacatta marble and dazzling mosaic tile surrounding a double console vanity with Lefroy Brooks fixtures, a sumptuous nickel-plated cast-iron soaking tub, and a walk-in shower for two. The second bedroom along the northern exposure boasts a roomy closet and shimmering chandelier, and the third bedroom is perfect for guest or home office use with its built-in stone-and-pipe desk and shelving. In the hallway, the oversized guest bathroom includes double sinks and a large tub/shower. Linen storage, a laundry closet with a stacked washer-dryer, and central HVAC add comfort and convenience to this spectacular Tribeca loft.

58 Walker Street is a marble, granite and cast-iron store-and-loft built in 1869 in the classic Second Empire style that gives this stretch of Walker Street its stunning, uniform streetscape. Converted to condominium use in 2003, the boutique five-unit, pet-friendly condominium features part-time superintendent service, video intercom entry, and keyed elevator access.

From this outstanding Tribeca Historic District location, you're surrounded by remarkable Downtown amenities with Civic Center, SoHo, Nolita, The Bowery and FiDi all nearby. Renowned galleries, boutiques, restaurants and nightlife venues fill the local streets. City Hall and Hudson River parks are within easy reach, and transportation options include N/Q/R/W, J/Z, 4/5/6, A/C/E and 1 trains, excellent bus service, CitiBike stations, bridges and tunnels.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
