Property Description for 108 Leonard Street, 11-R

This immaculate 863 sq. ft. one bedroom, one and one-half bathroom apartment is a marvel of contemporary design that beautifully and boldly compliments renowned architect McKim Mead & Whites original Italian Renaissance Revival landmark building in which it is housed. From the entry, which holds a discreetly placed washer/dryer next to a half bathroom and a closet, one follows the wide plank grey oak flooring into the spaciously designed living room. The dramatic windows bring in southern light that flows through the living space which seamlessly blends into the gorgeous open kitchen. The kitchen, which has been custom designed by Jeffrey Beers International exclusively for 108 Leonard, offers Scavolini cabinetry throughout and Arabescato Cervaiole marble countertops and backsplash as well as a waterfall island. Generously proportioned, the kitchen also contains exceptional Miele appliances including a 4-burner gas cooktop with a vented hood, convection oven, electric speed oven/microwave and a wine refrigerator.

The large primary bedroom has oversized windows also offering southern light and a short hallway containing a large closet with double doors leading into the striking en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has high-honed Calacatta Mandria marble floors and walls and is outfitted with Fantini polished chrome fixtures, a custom double vanity and oversized walk-in shower.

The apartment has overhead lighting throughout, central AC, and electric shade hook ups.
Please note: Available immediately though there is a lease application process that may take a few weeks.

108 Leonard is an iconic turn of the century architectural masterpiece that has been conscientiously restored by Jeffrey Beers International to keep the historical and ornamental grandeur of the building while masterfully molding it into a distinctly contemporary yet timeless vision. The residential building has three luxurious attended lobbies each with its own elevator bank and also offers valet parking. The buildings 20,000 square feet of amenities include a fitness center with a 75 foot indoor lap pool and sauna, a childrens playroom, entertainment lounge, chefs kitchen, wine cellar with private dining and a rooftop garden with outdoor dining.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
