Property Description for 46 West 75th Street, 2

OPEN HOUSES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Available furnished for $9,000/month or unfurnished for $7,500/month. A unique and beautifully renovated two-bedroom residence with a home office and stunning private garden in an intimate brownstone perfectly located on a tree-lined Central Park block on the Upper West Side. Upon entry to this special residence, a landing area awaits where you can leave the outside world behind. Natural southern light pours in from the 17' double-height wall of glass at the back of the home showcasing an idyllic two-level garden with mature trees, plantings, new stone pavers, and a built-in stone seating area to enjoy evening cocktails around your fire pit or the sweet bird songs in the early morning hours. A respite from the bustle of the city, this home is so quiet one can almost hear a pin drop as a result of its perfect positioning in the center of the block. Both levels of the residence have access to and enjoy peaceful views of the outdoor oasis. A spacious living room with a wood-burning fireplace for those cozy winter evenings is on the upper level of the home. An open chef's kitchen complete with granite countertops, a thoughtful built-in pantry, and top-of-the-line appliances including an integrated SubZero fridge, and a Miele range, stove, and steam oven leads to a lovely dining area. A sun-filled bedroom with two exposures and a luxurious bathroom with heated floors, Toto self-cleaning toilet and bidet, and Porcelanosa tile, fixtures, and vanity are also on this level. The lower level of the home features a massive primary bedroom with a wood-burning fireplace, extensive cedar walk-in closet, and entire wall of additional custom closets. An exquisite ensuite bath is a wonder to behold with its extended length, tempered glass-enclosed steam shower, heated floors, and fixtures by Porcelanosa including an "Almond" tub and beautiful vanity with what seems like endless storage. A windowed home office with extensive built-ins is a perfect addition to the primary suite. Laundry can be found immediately outside the lower level's entry door. Every detail was considered during the complete renovation of this turnkey home including a ductless AC/heat system controlled by Nest thermostats, wiring with fiber optic cable to accommodate 5G technology, and in-ceiling speakers throughout. With Central Park at the end of the block, the farmers market each Sunday by the Museum of Natural History, Citarella and Fairway nearby, the B, 2, 3, and 1 trains within blocks, and access to Lincoln Center and all of the fantastic restaurants of the Upper West Side, this location can not be beat.

Upper West Side | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Bracketed on its east and west borders by massive city parks, the Upper West Side (UWS) is known for its greenery, stately and elegant townhomes, safe streets and great schools, all of which make it a very desirable neighborhood for families. The UWS has maintained its community feeling, making it attractive to young professionals and retirees, both of whom want a sense of belonging in the place they call home.

Here you’ll find many apartment buildings, especially those along Central Park West. Historic architecture abounds, anchored by four luxury co-ops - the San Remo, Majestic, Century and Eldorado apartments - all of which have two towers on their interiors. They were built in the 1930s and their design was predicated on a 1929 building code that imposed a height limit on residences facing the street. There are also impressive row houses near Riverside Drive throughout the W 70 and 80 Streets. Above the 90s, you will find smaller buildings where walk-ups are very reasonably priced.

There are several world-class museums and venues dedicated to the performing arts. Plentiful dining can be found in the UWS. You will find everything from quaint Jewish delis serving up bagels and a schmear to sophisticated fine dining that has earned multiple Michelin stars, and everything you could possibly want in between. There is also abundant shopping and a vibrant nightlife.
