Property Description for 465 Park Ave, 7-BC

Unique and exciting opportunity to live in this rarely available sought after B/C combination in the iconic Ritz Tower at the corner of Park Avenue and 57th Street. Ritz Tower is one of the few residential buildings with hotel like services that make living in New York City easy and pleasurable.

Come home to a stunning residence that exudes elegance and sophistication with over 2300 square feet of space. Use as currently configured as two adjacent apartments or easily combine them into one.

Enter the apartment through the 22 foot long gracious marble floored gallery with its high ceiling and crown moldings. The gallery flows through to the classic dining room boasting large street facing windows, enhancing the feeling of openness and space. To the right is the grand corner living room overlooking both Park Avenue and 57th Street and flowing in sunlight through its oversized windows. It is perfect for entertaining or relaxing with extensive built in storage areas and an entrance to the dining room.

The large master bedroom faces Park Avenue and has a spacious en-suite bath with a walk in closet that is 7'-3"x &'-7" with a 10 foot ceiling. On the opposite side of the apartment is an expansive second bedroom/den with an adjoining full bath and large walk in closet, which provides privacy from the entertaining spaces of the apartment and the primary bedroom.

There are endless closets and storage areas, a large washer/dryer closet and a contemporary kitchen with top of the line appliances.

This apartment is in move in condition with all, but the primary bedroom and bath, having just been fully renovated.

Adjoining the B apartment is a large one bedroom apartment, also in move in condition, with 1 and a half baths and its own Pullman kitchen. Use it as the current owner has, as a private supplemental apartment for visiting family, an office, for card games and a place for staff to stay over or be on call during the day, or easily combine it with the B apartment to add additional bedrooms/dens/play areas or work space.

The Ritz Tower provides full hotel services to its residents to make living as easy as possible. It was designed by noted architect Emery Roth and, when built in 1925, was the tallest residential tower in the world. This white glove building, with its hospitable staff, provides extensive services, including (if desired) housekeeping, laundry service, valet, exclusive chef and room service, a conference room and business center, an event room, a fitness center, storage, a concierge desk and a staff dedicated to service under the direction of the on-site Managing Director.

The building allows pets, financing (50%), pieds-a-terre and different forms of ownership. Electricity is included in maintenance.

The Ritz Tower is at the center of the East Side with Central Park just steps away. The building is convenient to the business district, the boutiques of Madison Avenue and other desirable shopping stores, endless restaurants and the elegant residential Upper East Side.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
