Steps to Prospect Park, this spacious 1,650SF 3BR/2BA boasts abundant natural light from windows in every room facing west and south, including two sets of corner windows with views overlooking sunset skies and gardens below with the Verrazzano bridge in the distance. Situated on the 3rd floor of a well-maintained elevator building on sought-after Seeley Street.

Well-proportioned, this welcoming oasis seamlessly blends pre-war charm with modern elegance, featuring oak floors, archways, and base moldings throughout. The expansive foyer leads to the sunlit open kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, wooden cabinetry, and stainless-steel appliances, including a dishwasher and Fisher & Paykel French door refrigerator. Additional highlights include undermount lighting, a breakfast bar, and ample storage.

The primary suite accommodates a king-size bed and furnishings, complemented by an ensuite windowed bathroom. The second sizable bedroom offers versatility, while the large rear bedroom boasts corner windows. A bright, windowed second bathroom and plentiful closet space complete the interior layout.

This cat-friendly building offers a landscaped front yard, renovated laundry room with stainless steel machines on a card system, residents’ lending library, waitlisted parking garage, secure storage and basement bicycle storage. Residents can use the rear of the building for seasonal planting and gardening. An onsite superintendent works in conjunction with porters to maintain the building, and a management company oversees operations. Recent upgrades include a new ButterflyMX video intercom system which connects to a smartphone app, and repainting of common areas, new hallway carpeting, and buffing of the terrazzo lobby-level floors.

Conveniently located steps from Prospect Park, residents enjoy proximity to the lake, Duck Island and Vanderbilt playground, as well as easy access to transportation, including a 2-minute walk to the B68 and 6-minute walk to the F/G trains. The vibrant Windsor Terrace/Park Slope neighborhood offers a plethora of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, including Elk Café, Nitehawk Cinema, Windsor Farms, Bartel-Pritchard Square Greenmarket, Smorgasburg, and more. Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
