Property Description for 90 Gold Street, 7-J

Welcome to Unit 7J, a spacious, quiet one-bedroom apartment in the Southbridge Tower Complex. Offering ample closet space, wood flooring, and a recently renovated kitchen and bath, it also features a private balcony for an urban oasis feel.

The kitchen is outfitted with granite countertops, new wooden cabinetry, and stainless-steel Samsung appliances, including a full-size dishwasher. The bathroom features tile flooring and a walk-in shower surrounded by marble.

Well-proportioned with good airflow, this apartment also features an unexpected amount of space compared to many other one-bedroom apartments in the Manhattan marketplace. The monthly maintenance fee of $798.12, including A/C, electric, and gas, is one of the city’s best bargains.

The building complex offers 24-hour security, a live-in super, 24/7 building staff, several children's playgrounds, a basketball court, beautifully landscaped gardens throughout the complex, and a very caring and supportive staff. Each high-rise building in the Southbridge complex has a laundry facility in the basement. Garage space is available in the complex, and residents may apply for a reduced rate. Basement storage bins are available via a waitlist.

Located in the Seaport/FiDi district, it is close to nearly every major subway line: A, C, J, Z, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and PATH trains. It is also close to many express bus lines.

All your services are within close proximity, including markets, cobblers, dry cleaners, spas, and, of course, many wonderful restaurants. There are wonderful paths to be accessed from the building around the southern tip of Manhattan, as well as ferries to any number of locations. It's a great place to call home and take advantage of all this part of town has to offer.

Call for an appointment to view this move-in-ready apartment!

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
