Property Description for 68 Eldert Street, 4-A

Introducing unit 4A for rent at The Eldertree Condominium in Bushwick, a brand new 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment with a terrace and private roof cabana that has never been lived in before.

Upon entering this sparkling new home, you are greeted by a large foyer that opens up to a contemporary living space and kitchen. The kitchen features custom Nobilia cabinetry, Silestone countertops and high-end appliances including a Bertazzoni stove, Fisher & Paykel fridge, dishwasher and built-in Haier microwave. The bright and airy living space is framed by floor-to-ceiling, double-glazed Pella windows and a sliding glass door that opens up to your very own covered terrace. Enjoy a glass of wine as you take in the Southwestern views that filter in throughout each room of this impeccable apartment.

Unit 4A features wide plank white-oak flooring, recessed lighting and Daikin multi-zone split systems for heating and cooling throughout the home. The sizeable bedrooms are split on each side of the living area to allow for privacy and convenience. Both bedrooms have ample closet space and floor-to-ceiling windows that stream in sunlight all day long. There are two full bathrooms, one of which is en suite and the other of which is adjacent to the foyer. Both bathroom designs include imported Spanish tile walls and floors, custom vanities with built-in storage and smart-touch Grohe shower fixtures. There is also a large utility closet to provide even more storage for the resident. Wash your clothes in your vented Samsung washer and dryer and then take the elevator up to your very own private rooftop cabana with stunning views of Brooklyn, Manhattan and beyond. It doesn't get much better than this.

68 Eldert Street is a boutique elevator condominium with only ten units. The building features video intercom systems in every unit and offers the quintessential city living experience. You'll have quick access to an array of local amenities, including trendy cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as convenient transportation options for easy commuting to the city. Some of these local hotspots include Maya Fusion Cafe, Andalucia Bar & Lounge, The Steel Mill and Tre'Jolie Cafe. Nearby subway lines are the J & Z at Chauncey Street, the L at Bushwick Avenue, and the A & C at Broadway Junction. Street parking is easy and there are Citibikes close by.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
