Property Description for 400 Park Ave South, 27-C

400 Park Avenue South, designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Christian de Portzamparc, has been a pinnacle of the Manhattan skyline since 2014. Known as the Fortress of Glassitude, the building's unique design allows for significant natural sunlight to permeate throughout the residences while offering stunning views of the surround.

Unit 27C delivers on this praise and shows its strength with over 2800 square feet of expansive living space. As you make your way throughout this luxurious residence, you'll find three extra-large bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a home that has been kept in remarkable condition since its original purchase.

The tour begins with the state-of-the-art kitchen that upholds Pedini glass-faced cabinetry, quartzite countertops and Miele appliances. The primary bedroom is substantial in size and features an en-suite home office as well as a lavish bath, which includes limestone floors, deep soaking tub, rain shower, and a marble dual vanity. The additional two bedrooms also offer spacious living as well as spectacular views off of their Eastern approaches. Other features that round out this marquee unit include electronic window dressings, white oak wood flooring, washer/dryer, and nine full-sized closets.

Amenities include a full-time doorman and concierge, fitness center, swimming pool, steam room and sauna, yoga and spin studio, golf simulator, screening room, and outdoor sky lounge. Convenient to all major transportation, Madison Square Park, The Mondrian Hotel, Eataly, Eleven Madison, Scarpetta, Whole Foods, and so much more.

Developed by Toll Brothers, this building has received LEED certification and a 10-year 421a tax abatement. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
