Property Description for 646 Greene Ave, 3

Located on a picturesque tree-lined block steps away from Herbert Von King Park, this spacious unit is filled with natural light and luxury appliances. The mint condition kitchen features a Samsung stainless-steel appliance suite including a 5-burner gas range, built-in microwave, and French-style refrigerator. The island with granite countertop is spacious and large enough for meal preparation, and the multiple cabinets provide much needed storage. Finishing the luxury theme is a blue and gray glass tile back-splash, giving the kitchen just the right amount of color. The two spa-like bathrooms provide a luxury hotel ambiance, great for relaxation and pampering. The in-unit washer and dryer provide added convenience. Beautiful hard wood floors feature large white oak planks and help to give that space a more expansive feel. Over-sized floor-to-ceiling windows flood the living and dining room with light, and recessed lights with dimmers are displayed throughout. Control your own heating and cooling via remote-controlled units and ceiling fans in each room. The virtual doorman allows for contact-less delivery and secured entry. Available immediately. Call or email today to schedule a private appointment.

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
