The Seymour #5B is a rare residence that perfectly balances luxury, space, warmth, and comfort.

It’s a generous (1460 ft² = 135 m²) two-bedroom, with two and a half bathrooms with no wasted space and abundant Southern light rendered ever pleasant by the view over the green tree-tops adorning West 25th Street.
You are naturally led to the bright kitchen and large living room area as you enter the apartment.

The chef’s kitchen features exquisite custom light oak cabinetry with leather handles and is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances by Subzero, Bertazzoni, and Miele. The dining and living rooms are functional enough to make entertaining easy and pleasant: you will enjoy having your friends over for comfortable dinner parties.

On the way to the sleeping area, you can find a stylish half bathroom with a custom black lacquered vanity and mosaic tiles. Then, you will finally arrive at the primary bedroom, featuring a custom-made walk-in closet and a white Calacatta Tucci marble bathroom with heated floors, a custom-designed sink vanity, and an extra-deep soaking bathtub.

The second bedroom is also very spacious, as is the sleek second bathroom.

The Seymour is one of the most luxurious yet understated boutique buildings in Chelsea. It was entirely designed by the iconic architecture firm Rottet Studio (also designed by the Central Park Tower), and it perfectly matches Chelsea’s rich history.

The building’s amenities include a brick and ivy garden, a gym, a lounge with a fireplace and pool table, a media room, and a quiet library. The roof deck has fabulous views, a lounge area, and an outdoor kitchen.

Located just a few minutes walking distance to the 1/E/C/F subway lines and all the sought-after Chelsea attractions and conveniences, such as the Highline, the Chelsea and Flatiron bar and restaurant scene, the Chelsea Art Galleries, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
