The F/G line is at 9th st and the R train. Prospect Park is just over 4 blocks away. There is a Citi Bike dock outside, which is great if you ride to the park, you can dock you bike at 9th st or 15th.
About the neighborhood:
This it prime Park Slope living. Steve's Market is across the secret with high end organic produce, Rite Aid next door, CVS a block away, and save on 5th across the street, great coffee shops close by with free wifi, Bagel Pub is on the corner which has great fresh juice, coffee, and tons of bagel meal options. Owl Farm for cocktails, Barbes with live music, and Dram Shop with pool table, shuffleboard and sports playing on all the flat screens! Also there is Ocean Fish Market with great fresh fish options, and Prime Time Liquors with great prices and perfect for your entertaining needs. During the supper they block off 5th ave for food festivals and let restaurants brings their tables and chairs out into the streets with live music at some locations..
