Property Description for 50 Bayard Street, 3-H

Sun-filled and spacious, this two bedroom, two bathroom corner apartment is situated in sought-after North Williamsburg, set in a popular full-service condominium. This peaceful home has unobstructed views over looking McCarren Park and faces North, South and East. The apartment has been meticulously maintained by the same owner since the building was converted. The glossy, modern kitchen is outfitted with beautiful lacquer and frosted glass cabinets, double sink, Sub Zero refrigerator, Miele oven and dishwasher, ample counter space and convenient breakfast bar seating. The open kitchen flows into your large living room with over-sized windows and high ceilings, offering plenty of space for entertaining or quiet enjoyment. The ideal layout allows for a separation of space with the primary and secondary bedrooms on opposite sides of the apartment. The king size primary bedroom has a walk-in closet and a spa-like ensuite bathroom featuring a dual sink vanity, shower and separate soaking tub. The second bedroom accommodates a queen size bed and also makes for a great home office. Other features include new hardwood floors, central AC, in-unit washer/dryer, custom shades and a PARKING SPACE AVAILABLE FOR RENT. The IKON building is a stunning century-old manufacturing plant that’s been converted into well-appointed condominium units. It’s truly one of the most distinctive buildings in Williamsburg-equal parts modern and historical, with a strong nod to Brooklyn’s industrial heritage. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman, storage, roof top gym and a lovely communal roof deck with gas grill, furniture, and stunning views. Across the street lies your new backyard-McCarren Park! Here, you’ll find a terrific farmers market every Saturday, McCarren Recreation Center, tennis courts, a quarter-mile track, a softball field, a skateboard park, and the famous McCarren pool. 50 Bayard Street neighbors Greenpoint and is surrounded by acclaimed restaurants and local favorites such as Llama Inn, Lilia, Fandi Mata and Allswell. With McCarren Park hotel, Wythe hotel and so many of Brooklyn’s well-known music and entertainment venues situated nearby-Brooklyn Brewery, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Knitting Factory and Brooklyn Bowl-you’ll never lack for something fun to do. With immediate access to the L/G trains and citibike, the rest of Brooklyn and the other four boroughs are a quick trip away! The apartment will be fully painted before moving in. Pet friendly. Available September 1st, UNFURNISHED OR FURNISHED. Showing by appointment. Please email with additional questions.

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
