Offered for the first time after a comprehensive renovation by the current owners, this exquisitely detailed residence at the famed 70 Vestry represents the finest in modern Tribeca living. Currently configured as a gracious 3-bedroom with study and easily pivoted to the unit’s original 4-bedroom floor plan, its 2,844 square feet exude grace and craftsmanship throughout. Enter into the windowed gallery with custom inlaid marble floors, a stunning powder room and substantial walk-in entry closet. Custom chevron hardwood floors fill the great room; exceptionally scaled, and finished with a wall of custom millwork that cleverly conceals a television and bar area. The focal point is a custom marble fireplace mantle, elegantly positioned next to a cased opening into the study. Finished in lacquer millwork with an intricate plaster ceiling, the study is an element extension of the living space. The home’s kitchen features custom oak paneling with Bardiglio Luco marble counters and Calacatta Milano marble accents, Miele appliances including two dishwashers, and Sub-Zero wine storage. An adjacent dining area faces south and lives as an extension of the main living space, allowing for an ideal flow-through layout. Thoughtfully reimagined, the primary suite boasts ample closet space in custom millwork as well as a spacious walk-in closet and a spa-like primary bathroom with dual sinks and an oversized shower. The bedroom wing also includes two secondary bedrooms with en-suite baths and an oversized laundry room with additional storage. A complete Lutron system controls lighting and shades throughout. Included in the purchase price is a 70 square foot storage room, accessed directly via the building’s service elevator. An EV-compatible parking spot in the building’s fully automated garage is available separately. Developed by Related Companies and designed by the revered Robert A.M. Stern Architects with interiors by Daniel Romualdez, 70 Vestry stands as the must successful condominium development in downtown Manhattan. Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
