Among the most extraordinary residences to grace the city, Penthouse West is a meticulously designed marvel, a never-lived-in, museum-quality home that was recreated after a multi-year renovation overseen by Sawyer | Berson. Every aspect of the penthouse has been redone to the highest of standards. At a grand 6,400 square feet, the home features four spacious bedrooms, three with en-suite baths, two elegant powder rooms, four wood-burning fireplaces, two bespoke home offices and two impeccably designed terraces providing 2,450 square feet of outdoor space. The terraces boast panoramic views of city skylines and spectacular sunsets. INTERIORS Enter through the doors off your private elevator into a magnificent blend of modern elegance and classic sophistication. This duplex home is perfectly divided with the living and entertaining spaces on the main level and the bedrooms on the upper level. The bespoke finishes including Venetian plaster walls, Cerused custom millwork, and hand-scraped hardwood floors provide a stunning palate for the home. The main floor presents a massive, 43.5’-wide living room, flanked with a wood-burning fireplace. Bronze-cased floor-to-ceiling windows outline the living room, providing an abundance of natural light. Oversized sliding glass doors open to the main floor's terrace spanning over 600 square feet, large enough for a casual conversational area and 10 person dining table. The sun filled great room offers a secondary living/lounge area with its own wood-burning fireplace and a place for everyday dining. The chef’s kitchen boasts a custom 20 foot long butcher block countertop, double Miele ovens and dishwashers, double Sub-Zero refrigerators and double Sub-Zero beverage refrigerators. A Miele six-burner range with vented hood, walk-in pantry, and an expansive Taj Mahal quartzite counter make it a culinary paradise for entertaining or intimate gatherings. End your evening in the plush media room/office. Upstairs, the primary suite, complete with a wood-burning fireplace and spacious dressing area, offers a spa-like bathroom with double vanities, separate shower, soaking tub and separate water closet. The bathroom is appointed with elegant Waterworks fixtures, custom Siberian Sky marble walls, and Quarzo Bianco flooring. Adjacent to the suite is a grand home office, which includes direct access from the elevator for those looking to work from home but still maintain complete separation. Across the hall there are three additional bedrooms, each with large closets and south-facing exposures. Designed for productivity and inspiration, the entire AVIT system was newly designed and installed by SAGE. OUTDOOR PARADISE The remarkable roof terrace, completely redesigned, comes with a fully equipped FESFOC Barcelona outdoor kitchen, designated dining area large enough for 12, and a luxurious oversized hot tub. Noho | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoHo, an acronym for North of Houston, is a trendy neighborhood with expansive lofts, chic shops, and hip eateries. It was once part of Greenwich Village, but as New York City changes and coolness always redefines itself, the neighborhood, which is more like a small nook, has morphed into a happening secession of its own.

Like many New York City neighborhoods, the boundaries are subjective and the exact location always depends on who you ask. Generally, NoHo is understood to be bounded by East Eighth Street to the north, East Houston Street to the south, Bowery Street to the east (which becomes Cooper Square north of East Fourth Street), and Broadway to the west.

It’s hard to believe that NoHo was once a sketchy no-man’s land with more than its share of dilapidated structures. These gentrified days, it’s a healthy mix of older buildings, renovated warehouses and newer construction by iconic architects. For such a small area, NoHo has three historic districts that cover much of the neighborhood.

Broadway, Bowery, and Lafayette is the business district of the neighborhood. You’ll find it all in this neck of the woods. From trendy one of a kind retailers to popular brand stores. It rivals its SoHo neighbor in places to shop.

Architecture buffs get your walking shoes on. There are many historical and modern buildings throughout the neighborhood. Colonnade Row, the Cable Building, and the Schermerhorn Building are just a few of the many notable buildings you’ll find.
