Property Description for 11 Vestry Street, PH-6

Tribeca Loft Penthouse with Significant Outdoor Space. Privately accessed via direct key-locked elevator entry, this impressive three-bedroom (4th bedroom option), three-bathroom home offers Downtown character in a boutique building; all located on a quiet cobblestone street.

Capitalizing on double height ceilings, the dramatic entrance into the main entertaining room is coupled with a substantial dining area and an over 25ft wide living room, all accentuated by extra-large street facing windows.

Handcrafted fieldstone around a wood-burning fireplace, adjacent to the elegant and matching staircase which provides access to each floor throughout the home, are some of the homes elevated details, with the interior throughout boasting cherry wood floors with mahogany trim. A separate eat-in-chef's kitchen with high-end appliances and granite counter top ensures excellent room delineation, all with the utility of a walk-in pantry. The first floor of the home is completed by a bedroom/den with en-suite bathroom and the first outdoor terrace of multiple substantial exterior spaces, all accessible from the southern sunny side of the residence.

The second-floor features two expansive bedrooms, each with ample walk-in closets, and direct access to a shared, marble adorned full bathroom. An abundance of outdoor space, offers both bedrooms egress to a second private sunny south-facing terrace. Elevator access to this floor makes for al-fresco entertaining convenience on the larger northern outdoor space, or direct access to the bedrooms if required, illustrating this thoughtful and balanced layout.

Between the second and third floors lies an expansive patio with multiple seating areas, space for a large dining table, and a cooking area, landscaped to maximize privacy and offer the quintessential urban oasis. A half-flight up, the primary suite showcases an unobstructed vista of lower Manhattan, postcard views framed from the Freedom Tower to the Woolworth building. This suite also features the second wood-burning fireplace, an additional private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a steam shower and jacuzzi tub, which creates a spa-like atmosphere. Culminating in rooftop access, the primary bedroom takes the entire third floor and demonstrates grandeur, privacy and sanctuary for any owner.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
