Property Description for 15 Hubert Street, PH-A

Welcome to Penthouse A at 15 Hubert - a stunning duplex that masterfully combines the charm of historic loft living with modern luxury. Located on a serene cobblestone street in the heart of Tribeca, this boutique 12-residence development by CetraRuddy offers privacy and exclusivity while being surrounded by one of Manhattan's most vibrant neighborhoods.

This three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom penthouse spans two levels, with an open layout that captures the spirit of classic loft spaces. The great room, measuring an impressive 23'x27', is bathed in natural light from large windows with automatic shades, offering picturesque views of the Hudson River. Wide-plank solid oak flooring and 10'6" ceilings flow throughout, seamlessly connecting the living and kitchen areas.

The kitchen, both modern and masterful, features a custom-built Parsons-style table island, floor-to-ceiling rift-sawn white oak cabinetry, solid-slab marble countertops, and premium stainless-steel appliances complete this elegant space, along with a cozy dining banquet perfect for daily meals.

Adjacent to the great room is a versatile extra room ideal for use as a library, office, study, or media room. Two bedrooms, including the primary suite, are located down a gracious hallway lined with white-painted brick - original to the building. The primary bedroom boasts a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a custom-built vanity, Sugar White marble countertop, and dual integrated sinks, complemented by a hand-cut marble mosaic accent wall.

The upper floor of the penthouse features an expansive entertainment room that can be transformed to whatever you need and opens onto a private terrace, offering breathtaking city views and over 600 square feet of outdoor space to enjoy. Additional highlights include custom millwork, French doors, a built-in wet bar, and abundant outdoor space for relaxation and entertainment.

15 Hubert is a one-of-a-kind residence, perfect for those who value privacy. This four-building structure, originally a warehouse built in 1867, has been reimagined into a luxury condominium by the award-winning CetraRuddy architecture and design firm. Their expert craftsmanship preserves the building's original charm, blending it seamlessly with a modern aesthetic. It's a rare opportunity to own a true Tribeca loft, characterized by wide-open spaces, high ceilings, stretches of exposed brick walls, and oversized windows.

Residents of 15 Hubert also enjoy a well-appointed lobby with concrete-paneled walls, wood-paneled ceilings, and a part-time door attendant. The building features a state-of-the-art package reception system and a beautifully landscaped communal rooftop lounge with BBQ facilities and sweeping views of the Hudson River and One World Trade Center.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
